Dear Mr. Jason Barrett (aka Zac Efron’s manager and co-producer of Seventeen Again),
First of, why change the movie’s title? Especially into one that’s already a Disney movie? Well, whatever it’s not really a big deal.
This letter is not about that anyway. It’s about the fact that no one in VABN received an invite to media day last week! I mean, how did that happen? And please don’t give me the “it must have gotten lost in the mail” excuse. I mean, you do realize that the girls here love Zaccy, right? (excluding me of course)
At the very ...

or Zac Efron (whichever you prefer) – albeit on the big screen only.
If you parked yourself here yesterday (while the pictures from Paty’s were just coming out), you were one of the first to know that Zac is back on his feet (after his trip to the emergency room). He is still looking a bit pale, but what do you expect?
Of course this is not only good news to everyone who cares for Zaccypoo, but for the producers of Seventeen as well. With their new plan to release the movie this summer – instead of waiting until 2009, they ...

or something equally as ridiculous soon.
Michelle Trachtenberg has been cast to play the daughter of Matthew Perry/Zac Efron character in Seventeen, this according to The Hollywood Reporter. The daughter will unknowingly have a crush on the younger version of her dad (Zac Efron) in the movie – not a real love-interest per se but as I mentioned in my first installment of the Hearthrob series, there will be Zac fans who will start fantasizing a Zac/Michelle love angle just because she’s not the real girlfriend – so she’s closer to their fantasies
So which do you think it will ...

E!Online’s Planet Gossip is reporting that Leslie Mann has been signed to star opposite Zac Efron in his upcoming movie, Seventeen.
Mann, who was last seen on screen in Knocked Up and The 40-yr old Virgin, will play Scarlett the wife of the older version of the character Zac will be playing.
If you recall, the movie which is being co-produced by Hairspray’s Director, Adam Shankman, will be like the Tom Hank’s movie Big but in reverse – the story will revolve around a 36 yr old man, Mike O’Donnell, who will wake up one day in the body of a high ...

Zac Efron’s coming of age movie 17 got itself a director in Burr Steers.
Producer Adam Shankman (who directed Zac in Hairspray) has said that “It’s been very important” to “pair Zac with a director that has a truly original voice and style”. Sounds like Steers is a perfect find; he directed Iggy Goes Down and was in Pulp Fiction with John Travolta.
This New Line movie will also be exec produce by Zac’s manager, Jason Barrett and is set to start production in December.
