So, I really like these ‘Road To…’ segments that Disney Channel is airing. And the “Road to One World” is getting me really excited to see it too. I especially like the song heard in the background, sounds very Cheetah-ish, but hey, what do you expect? Plus, I cannot wait to see the three Cheetah Girls take on Bollywood. That should be fun.

We all know and remember how exciting the past games have been. In 2006 with all the Wildcats, in 2007 sans two Wildcats and this year - without all of them! Gasp! What will we do!? Well, we’ll still watch. Why? Hello - BRENDA! And not to mention a few of our other new friends around the VABN-world. So who’s exactly playing and how can you get tickets to see the concerts? Thanks to a good guy named Hal, we have the info! Woot! (Read more…)

Don’t worry Monique, I did the same thing to when I first started out, but learned really quickly. They are painful like that. Here’s a trick - always make an extra hole in the strap between where it feels comfortable and uncomfortable, and use that while you’re learning. So much easier on your whole foot. But, gotta say something on the lotion - not a lot, k? Don’t want Alec or Louis to slip on your hand and go flying across the floor

So, what is ‘The Cheetah Girls 3: One World’ really all about? Even we weren’t really sure, but an I Crave Bollywood article cleared it all up for us. And, to be perfectly honest, I kind of like this storyline better than the first and second movies. And we all know that Raven-Symone, who played Galeria in the previous two installments has declined the role to pursue other interests - like her summer tour - but Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda are still there!
According to the I Crave Bollywood article, here’s what ‘One World’ is all about:
Chanel (Adrienne Bailon), Dorinda (Sabrina Bryan) and Aqua (Kiely Williams), are getting ready for college and dance camp when an aspiring Bollywood movie director, Vik Bhatia, offers them roles in his movie, Namaste Bombay. The girls make the decision to go for it and journey to India.
Everything looks rosy until the movie’s producer, Vik’s uncle Kamal drops the bomb when he tells them that there is only one available role, not three as they had originally expected. This leaves the Cheetah Girls competing with each other for the lead while trying to prove to the Gita the choreographer that they can dance.
What will happen to the collective dream of Cheetah Girls comes into question, as each of them begins to contemplate her own dreams and aspirations?
The Cheetah Girls One World allows the girls to experience many cultural traditions, leaving them personally affected by India’s captivating essence. Be tuned in to Disney Channel India as well as Disney Channels around the world in October 2008 for the premiere of this music and dance adventure. You won’t want to miss it.
The film, so far, has been shot in Udupar and is now currently shooting in Rajasthan. Now, the film is set for an August 2008 release on Disney Channel US, but as stated in the article above, it’s October for India. Not sure for the other countries yet. Another thing for us to find out for everyone. So, are we excited for this like we are for Camp Rock or HSM3?
