I wonder if Kenny Ortega has a special title within the Disney organization. We all know him as the man behind the razzle and dazzle of the HSM movies. He is also behind the second Cheetah Girls movie and the soon to be filmed Cheetah Girls 3. So it’s not a surprise that Disney turned to Kenny to bring in some of his magic to the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus’s Best of Both Worlds concert - when it becomes a 3-D movie.

You probably won’t be surprise if we tell you that we think Kenny Ortega is the best director out there.
A biased opinion I admit…but can you blame us? He is afterall not only the #1 Wildcat but the #1 kuuipo as well. So of course, we were so ecstatic when we heard that the Multicultural Motion Picture Associationhas chosen our dear Kenny to received the “Best Director” award, in its 15th Annual Diversity Awards. The ceremony will take place on Nov 18th at the Universal Studios’ Globe Theater. And you betcha will be stalking the photo agencies for pictures and scrambling to find out when and which channel this show will be aired.
It might be a stretch but we might even see a Wildcat reunion at this event - and we do mean all 10 main wildcats + Drew Seeley. A reunion of just the “super 6″ would be great but it would be even greater to see Kaycee, Olesya, Ryne and Chris there too.

Our favorite director, Kenny Ortega, is reported to be in negotiations to direct (and choreograph of course!) a remake of the 1984 classic “Footloose”. And in talks to star as the rebellious newcomer, Ren McCormack, is the guy who is in a mission to make musical “cool again” - Zac Efron. Variety said this is being planned by the folks over at Paramount.Let’s do a London clap for Kenny and Zac! YAY!
Also heading to the big screen is Miley Cyrus. The Disney star revealed to MTV News a plan to take the hit Disney Channel show to a cinema near you. Producing this movie will be Billy Ray Cyrus.
