Joining the likes of Blake Lively, Emma Stone, the cast of Gossip Girl, Olivia Thirlby and Jonah Hill are the Jonas Brothers! I wouldn’t have picked them out of the crowd, but they are sure making themselves a household name and Vanity Fair has certainly recognized it.
Gracing the cover are 4 of the ‘new wave’ actresses - Emma Roberts, Kristen Stewart, Blake Lively and Amanda Seyfried (yay!) - the Hollywood Yearbook hits stands in August.

Seems we have not seen the last of Lindsay’s younger sister, Ali Lohan just yet. Not being cast in the third film of the High School Musical franchise has not stopped her and in fact, opened up another outlet - The Jonas Brothers.
The Brothers’ second single, Love Bug, and it’s music video are set to premiere on August 22nd after the premiere of The Cheetah Girls: One World and the younger Lohan is set to have a cameo in it, alongside Demi Lovato, Alyson Stoner, and the Cheetah Girls themselves.
The Jonas Brothers’ latest album, A Little bit Longer, hits shelves on August 12th.

Have I told you about my quest to be the most powerful person in the world? Have I? Well, now you know. It is what I was born to do!
But I have to be realistic and acknowledge that I have to start somewhere. I think Forbes Most Powerful Celebrity list should be a good start, don’t you think? I mean they already recognize several VABN stars as such (namely: Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers, Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale) – I’m sure I could get on there. I was probably #101 anyway.
I mean, how hard is it to convince a handful of people in a conference room that I’m powerful. I’m sure a couple of broken kneecaps or knuckles would do the trick…don’t you think so?
Anyway, KUDOS to Miley, Kevin, Joe, Nick, Zac and Ashley (and Matt Damon too) - for the recognition. Hope to see you on the list again next time.
Ok…off to figure out who to kick off the list. Hmmm Oprah looks like a good target.

Get ready for an all Camp Rock Weekend starting on June 20th, when the world premiere of the newest DCOM to start taking over hits televisions in the United States. But that’s not all! Can you believe that the hype has gotten so big and Disney Channel is really banking on this film that it really is a Camp Rock weekend - on all of the ABC Stations?! Seriously, they are, take a look -

No scientific study or survey has been conducted (or at least one I’m aware of) to determine which Jonas Brothers gets the most scream from adoring fans. But I’m sure Joe Jonas gets a big portion of them. His status as teen heartthrob is rising fast. I won’t be surprise if by the end of the summer his popularity will have doubled or tripled. He is currently touring with his brothers Nick and Kevin in Europe but his American fans get their weekly dose of (Joe)Jonas with their “reality series” Living the Dream; the DCOM Camp Rock (which comes out June 20th) is being heavily promoted (including in theaters!); and there’s the series J.O.N.A.S.
To say Joe and his brothers are taking over is a bit late – they have taken over: they even have their own People Magazine Special Edition. It is full-on Jonas-mania!
At the center of it all, both literally and figuratively – is middle child Joe Jonas. And why not – he got the good looks, the charisma (even proclaiming himself a nerd while wearing his tight pants) and of course the voice.
But you know what will really get him that heartthrob status? It’s the fact that he is now starting to get linked to beautiful girls seen with or around him.
There’s Brenda Song, which admittedly is my personal choice for Joe but might not even be in the picture. There’s Demi Lovato, who’s playing his love interest in Camp Rock; and now there’s Chelsea Staub who will be paired up with Joe in the Jonas’ upcoming DC series J.O.N.A.S. All these pairing are going to drive all the Joe Jonas fan girls to acute OJD. They will get territorial; they’ll get defensive (picking “ships”) and they’ll get extremely frenzied. I think we might just email Brenda, Demi and Chelsea a copy of the What to Expect if you’re Dating a Heartthrob. Or write a new version to help them prepare to cope.
I don’t know how Joe will take this new “status”. My suggestion will be to contact Zac Efron who might be able to help him navigate through it. In fact I’m sure Zaccy will be willing to help – Joe Jonas might just be the “someone better” he has been waiting to reprieve him of all the madness.

Authors you say? Yep, one more job to add to the ever growing list. Straight from the Business Wire RSS that I’m on, The Jonas Brothers have signed a book deal - their first - with Disney Book Group. The yet to be titled book, due out later this year in September, will follow the Brothers as they go on their worldwide headlining tour with exclusive behind-the-scenes pictures and stories. I’m thinking it will be just like, if not really similar to Along for the Ride by Marc Blackwell.
What’s next for the brothers? Maybe a sister? LOL. No, but in reality, it’s the premiere of Camp Rock, co starring Demi Lovato, on Disney Channel in 3 weeks! And their 3rd album dropping in August.
