The kids of Camp Rock were heating up New York City at their movie premiere yesterday. I was thinking they were going to come out in their camping gear! Ok.. not really

Get ready for an all Camp Rock Weekend starting on June 20th, when the world premiere of the newest DCOM to start taking over hits televisions in the United States. But that’s not all! Can you believe that the hype has gotten so big and Disney Channel is really banking on this film that it really is a Camp Rock weekend - on all of the ABC Stations?! Seriously, they are, take a look -
ETA: Closing comments. This was meant to be a guide of what’s ahead for the ones who wanted to know. Not a post to bash the Jonas Brothers or Demi Lovato.

When Disney Channel launched their ‘Next Big Thing’ last month and projected that Demi Lovato was their next big star, they weren’t kidding - and they’re not letting her go either from the looks of things to come.
Demi Lovato, half of the infamous Demi&Selena, who was first introduced as Charlotte on As the Bell Rings, a Disney short series (think Gabriella of the small screen and the series as HSM), is now set to be in her own show!
The tentatively titled series centers on Molly, played by Demi, who is a 15-year-old small-town girl who, after a nationwide search, is chosen to join the cast of the most popular and long-running teen sketch comedy show on television. The sitcom will feature a show-within-a-show with fully produced comedy sketches.
Pair this with her new recording contract with Hollywood Records, and Demi is well on her way with Selena Gomez to become Disney’s next Princess. So what do we think? Yay Demi? or Nay Demi?
Personally, I’m not passing up an opportunity to see Demi on the television, just like I won’t pass up an opportunity to see Vanessa Hudgens, Monique Coleman, Brenda Song, or Charisma Carpenter grace my television again. Congrats to Demi!

Let’s update everyone with the teams of the Disney Channel Games 2008, since I just got the listing, minus all the international stars. And yes, it’s true, neither Emily Osment (sad face) or Miley Cyrus will be participating this year in the games. Filming began this week. (Read more…)

We all know and remember how exciting the past games have been. In 2006 with all the Wildcats, in 2007 sans two Wildcats and this year - without all of them! Gasp! What will we do!? Well, we’ll still watch. Why? Hello - BRENDA! And not to mention a few of our other new friends around the VABN-world. So who’s exactly playing and how can you get tickets to see the concerts? Thanks to a good guy named Hal, we have the info! Woot! (Read more…)
