This is another entry from Betty who brought us several great entries in the past (“In Defense Of a Dork” and “When Is Matching Too Much of a Good Thing”. I have to say - I wholeheartedly agree, Betty! - chay.
Next week marks an important milestone for fans at Zac’s board on FanForum. We are about to celebrate 300 threads of Living in Love, and to help commemorate the occasion Jill sent out a small questionnaire for several of us to fill out. Although the task was direct and didn’t require too much input, my ramblings somehow meandered off course as is often the case, and resulted in a longer than necessary tribute which I’d like to share with all of you. It’s kind of amazing that for many Zac fans, “Zanessa” inevitably becomes part of the conversation, and it’s no wonder given that for many they go hand in hand. I joined the FF/VABN community in October of 2007,which was also a pivotal point in Zac and Vanessa’s relationship, and I was happy to see over the subsequent weeks that Zac proved to be a worthy BF in every aspect, and I’ve rarely been disappointed in his actions where V is concerned, or anywhere else for that matter. I am the defender after all ~LOL. And Vanessa,……..so obviously makes him happy that if she were not a talented, gorgeous triple-threat in her own right, well than, she would still be my #1 girl crush. To me there really is no way you can claim to be a fan of Zac’s and not support his relationship with Vanessa.

The second entry of our guest VABN bloggers, Brett and Allie. The girls did it again and this time brought their cousins and their future sister-in-law and her brother–they were extras or background over 5 days for HSM3. Get jealous again!
We “watched” a musicale, graduated and went to school in a bus last week as extras for HSM3! Again, what an experience! Not a lot of Z and V moments but they did enter and exit the set together a few times. We are just so happy that we got to do it again and be part of HSM3! Oh and we want to introduce you to Wayne, he’s pictured below with all us girls! Isn’t he a hottie?

Apparently our article, The Art of Being a Dork, struck a cord on Betty from Fanforum. Here is her “rebuttal”:
So Chay felt compelled to blog about Zac’s dorkiness! The woman just loves to push my buttons, she is very aware how defensive I get when the girls at FF decide to pick on Zac—especially when I suspect that Crystal is behind the malice. But of course, I know it’s all in good fun, and well truth be told, every once in awhile I even think he deserves it! And as is often the case, when one of us expresses a thought or idea, well then another one of us is very likely to respond, or in this case refute it. So with that in mind, I came up with my own rebuttals to Chay’s captions.

The first (hopefully of many) entry of our guest VABN blogger, Betty of FF.
Okay, are we all still squeeing over the latest candid of our favorite couple from some unknown location in Salt Lake City? It certainly gave us plenty to sigh about. Take a second look while I recap: Boyfriend’s arm around girlfriend’s shoulder, holding her tight; said girlfriend leaning comfortably against her man; a sign of peace by Mr. Efron directed at fans, or is it possibly a state of mind?; both sporting happy grins, and gasp! Matching plaid shirts! EEK!!!!!
We know Zac has an affinity for plaid and most of us see this somewhat old-manish quirk as adorkable, but V in plaid too! Now don’t get me wrong, Vanessa can never, repeat, never look bad, even if her gorgeousness were to don a burlap sack, except, of course if she were to put it over her head. But matching plaid????!!!!! (Okay I’m done with the exclamation points, for now.)

This weekend has been flush with goodies for the kuppios. Although, to be honest, after 97 days even a mention of a sighting would have been welcome. But we didn’t have to settle for a mere mention…pictures of ZV leaving/arriving at rehearsals together, a clandestine passing of the keys, complete with Mr. Efron taking a little more of GF’s hand than completely necessary. When we thought we’d never recover from that gem, we saw shirtless!Zac (appearing as though someone welcomed him back to the States very thoroughly) clasping hands with Vanessa as they walked together at rehearsals…possibly to find some privacy *wink, wink*.
For me, however, the real crowing glory came with the video of our favorite couple out on…dare I say, a date? Unlike a lot of other young celebrities (or old…Jack Nickelson, anyone?) they didn’t sit courtside. This was not an event where they went to get noticed, this was something that they were just doing together, to take a break and have some fun. I see that V’s a people watcher like me and she was the one who spotted the camera. If she wasn’t looking around, they probably never would have known until the guy managed to get right up beside them.

What would you give to have a lunch with Disney’s Corbin Bleu? An arm? A leg? Maybe that pesky little kidney your always being asked for? Think no more on it! All you have to give is CASH. A winning bid amount, to be exact.
A lunch with Corbin Bleu has been put up for auction by the charity Artist’s for a New South Africa. This will give fans a chance not only to meet this curly-haired-cutie but to help out a very worthy charity in return. Ultimately? Good Karma Points for all! According to the bidding site the lunch will take place in L.A. and obviously, the highest bid wins. Fans have until April 15th and 6pm EST to place their maxim bid for the possible once-in-a-lifetime chance to sit down with Disney’s bright-smile triple threat.
The charity this auction will be benefiting is, again, Artist’s for a New South Africa. Also known as ANSA. It is a nonprofit organization working in the United States and South Africa to fight HIV/AIDS, assist children who have been orphaned by AIDS, advance human and civil rights, to safeguard voting rights, and educate and empower youth. Visiting their site, which you can find here, will give you a sense of what they really stand for and I recommend it to any one who might be considering placing a bid.
So show your support for ANSA and show your support for our boy, Corbin. Come on - we know he’s worth a lot now we just want to prove it to him and to the charity this lunch will benefit.

Zac Efron prefers to stay home. We already know that he’s a fairly private person, likes to hang out with friends, play video games and visit his family. His Gorgeousness has told us that himself. What? A celebrity that loves his friends and family - that can’t be!
Wait a moment - let’s give this crazy accusation some thought. He’s still fairly young and if he didn’t party before everyone from my grandmother to her dog knew who he was - what did everyone expect?
Maybe the answer is that they weren’t necessarily expecting anything. But they were hoping. Sex, drugs and partying sells better than “homebodies.” He’s still a squeaky clean Disney star - much to the delight of Disney executives. If he was a “party dude” it would be far easier to catch him in the act of doing something “wrong.”

Guess what?!? The Jonas Brothers are taking over the Disney Channel! They have a new reality show called “Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream” that will be coming soon and we get to see them on stage performing, with their family, and driving around in go-carts and skydiving.
