Do you want to see almost 2-hrs worth of Ashley Tisdale? How about the “FIRST LOOK” of High School Musical 3? How would you like to see both on the same night? Well, if you answered “YES” to the questions, and you already marked your calendar for the TV premiere of Ashley Tisdale’s new movie Picture This, then you are way ahead of a lot of people.
ABC Family channel will be showing the “FIRST LOOK” (that Disney Channel is promising to show on the 14th in Asia) of HSM3 during its broadcast of Picture This, on Sunday - the 13th of July at 8pm ET.
So even if you’re a bigger “Sharpay Evans” fan than nerdy high-schooler, “Mandy” - you still have a reason to check out the movie.
But as an Ashley Tisdale fan you still would want to spend your Sunday evening watching her on screen anyway - whatever character she plays in the movie, right? Or do I have to tell you she sings in it; and that she wears a beautiful blue gown AND she saves a hunk from drowning?!!
So don’t forget - next Sunday at 8pm ET/ 7pm CT, on the ABC Family cable network, Picture This, starring Ashley Tisdale. Please check your local listing for channel.

Now, do you remember? Well, get ready my friend - because we are about to get the HSM3 version!
USA today will have a feature of HSM3 (and Corbin Bleu) this coming Monday, July 7th! Now, we are not sure to what extent it will be or if we get lots of great pictures like last time. But you better believe we will be keeping our eyes open for this..

Yet another time where our press invitation clearly got lost in the mail. But, don’t get to discouraged yet. Tommy2.net is giving us the recap in at least two parts. When we first mentioned the Sears endorsement here in VABN back in May, I remember reading some comments about how it’s a step down for Vanessa Hudgens. Many questioned the deal and if it can even be considered a “big endorsement”. Well, from the BTS that Access Hollywood is providing in this video - it is a big deal. She’s doing not 1; not 2 but 5 series of commercials! And if that wasn’t big enough - they have a very well known music vidoe director at the helm: Joseph Kahn.
So do we think this is going to be the summer of Vanessa Hudgens? We’ll revisit that question come September.

Disney is indeed a master of cross promotion.
I mean how else would you explain why you’ll see a teaser trailer of the upcoming movie, High School Musical 3: Senior Year - when you go see the new animated movie WALL-e?
HSM3 is not even officially done with filming.
But I’m not complaining. I’m taking my neices to see WALL-e this weekend. Having them see the teaser trailer will be a pleasant surprise to the kids responsible for introducing me to the HSM franchise.

Our resident hottie, Zac Efron will be joining Justin Timberlake on stage for the 2008 ESPY Awards. Although, we are not sure if they will be on stage at the same time - JT is hosting (Zac is presenting) - I’m pretty sure there will be a lot of “dead” women (and men too) on July 20th.
The show will air on ESPN. Make sure you check your local listing for channel and time before hand… just don’t forget to breathe..

According to Alan Baltes over at Acting Info, Ashley Tisdale will be producing a Disney Channel TV Show based on her teenaged years working at the mall. Though not much information is available yet, as nothing will be done for production until after High School Musical 3 wraps, I can say right now, I’m not seeing a big pull for this show. But maybe that’s just me. What do you think?
Would you watch a TV show based on Ashley Tisdale’s life? I’d check it out once, as I will with anything Ashley touches, but as a regular, have to see every episode, want all the merchandise, let’s plan the TV movie that Disney, I’m sure, is looking for? I don’t know. Although, Ashley Tisdale the producer excites me just a little bit.

Normally, it’s the other way around telling everyone to get out and do something, but why not give them a reason to stay in? You don’t have to waste any gas driving anywhere, or money when you need popcorn to watch a movie! It costs nothing and that’s possibly the best thing yet. Want a reason to stay in and watch the tube? (Or at least get off the computer and watch it?) We’ve got 5 Reasons to do just that. (Read more…)

I think we nailed down the reasons why our favorite blonde, Ashley Tisdale, spent some time away from the High School Musical set this past week (besides the fact that she filmed a lot of her scenes during the first month of shooting).
First up on the agenda is Ashley’s straight-to-DVD movie Picture This, which is actually going to premiere on the cable channel ABC Family (July 18th 8:00/10:00 ET/PT - check your local listing for channel). The movie will be available for purchase on July 22nd; so make sure you pick up a copy. With the premiere and drop date so close who knows what type of prep work Ashley had to take care of for this movie (she’s one of the producers).
Ashley also completed her series of vlogs for her DegreeGirl campaign. This turns out to be more involve than we first thought - she recorded 5 cover songs which are available with your purchase of DegreeGirl (so, perfect time to stack up on deodorant ladies ). If you’re curious, here’s a snippet of her version of Through the Walls (for the life of me I can’t think who did the original - fill me in by leaving it on the comments)
The next part is the one I’m most excited about - she took part in a Vanity Fair photoshoot for the magazines annual “Movies Rock” issue. The 10-page spread will be a recreation of the classic movie “Westside Story”. I’m not sure what scene or character she portrayed (Camilla Belle is Maria) but I’m sure she will do justice to it. The issue comes out in November so look out for that.
And lastly - this probably did not take up a lot of her time in Los Angeles - but we have to definitely mention it - Ashley’s album Headstrong has been certified GOLD!

She is back in Salt Lake City being Sharpay Evans as of this writing - filming in EHS.
