   cool i cant wait for this..im really excited!for a moment i thought they changed the date from jul 30th to oct 8th…thank God that didnt happen,i guess i read it wrong. omg only 6 more months yay!

    You guys, what happened to the Wendy Wu sequel? According the the Malaysian media company, Media Prima Berhad the plot is:
    ”Warrior princess Wendy and monk warrior Shen have set aside their powers to live as average American teens enjoying their high school year. But when they receive ominous messages from Shen’s monastery in China, Wendy reroutes her French club’s Paris trip to Shanghai in order to do battle! Sequel to the hit TV movie, Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior.”

    and Variety announced that there is a planned sequel starring Brenda and Shen… Disney never sent an official statement regarding the sequel other than Variety’s announcement back in 2007 and before that Brenda said that there are plans of a sequel but nothing is set in stone yet then Shen said that there is a sequel. When her official site relaunched last year she still didn’t confirm the sequel, she said ‘there’s been talk, but nothing official.. yet’ on the Wendy Wu movie page on her site. This is too confusing, is there a sequel or not? MPB is a reliable media company, it’s legit, the sequel is listed as ‘future programs’ on their kids features in the TV3 folder. Are Disney just planning on airing the movie on TV3? The first movie guaranteed a sequel since the ending had to have one. You guys said that its finished filming in 2008. Now, there are a lot of rumours that the sequel is called ‘Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior 2: Golden Soul’ and will air on the DC in April 2010 or after.
