Vanessa Hosts A Party, Zac Attends, We Want An Invite

This past weekend, Vanessa hosted a party at Joe Fortes in Vancouver. Zac was there as well, as he flew to Vancouver earlier to be with his girl.

The past few days, we have gotten a few blurbs and blogs from the party, giving us some awesome deets.

We also got some pics of ZV and the group leaving the resturant, and we LOVE the huge smile Zac has on his face.

Although Zac Efron has been hitting the Hollywood scene solo lately, he and Vanessa Hudgens are still very much on.

Here’s the proof: Zac went to visit Vanessa in Vancouver this weekend, where the Disney duo hosted a dinner party together. How very grown-up!

V called Joe Fortes’ Seafood and Chop House herself to make reservations for 16 people. “It was a party for her Sucker Punch castmates and her makeup artists,” a source tells E! News of the occasion.

Jena Malone and Carla Gugino were among the guests who dined on family-style seafood platters.

But let’s get to the details you really care about. How were Zac and Vanessa interacting?

“They were really cute and cuddly,” the restaurant source tells us of the wholesome twosome. “Zac was rubbing her back throughout the evening.”

And now that Zac’s legal, he picked his cocktail of choice: Grey Goose Greyhounds. The actor reportedly had “a bunch” during dinner.

Z and V stayed until the restaurant’s closing. “They paid for dinner themselves and were great tippers,” says the insider.

The group then piled into a white stretch limo to head home.

Vanessa must have known everyone would enjoy themselves since this isn’t their first visit to the Vancouver restaurant. “One time, they came in and played the piano together and sang Disney songs,” says the source.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, hosting a party for the actress’s Sucker Punch castmates at Joe Fortes Seafood and Chop House in Vancouver, B.C. The casually dressed duo picked out platters of food to serve family style and also mingled with all their guests during the four-hour dinner. “They played musical chairs, going from table to table to speak with all their friends,” a source tells us. The couple was also “very affectionate with each other” as they enjoyed their meal. Afterward, the group piled into a stretch limo and continued the party at Hudgens’s hotel.

Cuddly stars Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron hosted a dinner party Saturday night at Joe Fortes restaurant on Thurlow Street for the cast of Hudgens’ currently-filming action flick Sucker Punch.

Hudgens called to make the reservations for them and 14 of her coworkers.

Sounds like they probably strayed briefly from the rigid diet set by the movie’s physical trainers. Hudgens, along with co-stars Jamie Chung, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone and Emily Browning, have been working out for three hours a day throughout filming, training in martial arts, dance, gun handling and sword-fighting.

Efron finished filming in Vancouver last fall on his drama The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, but seems to have stuck around to keep his gal company.

The party stayed until the restaurant closed and left in a white stretch limo.
