well said trang. thanks for commenting. it seems as though being a fan of vanessa, zac and, heaven forbid, BOTH, has become a very complicated undertaking. i don’t visit TH or FF or ZF so i had no idea there were these deep ingrained camps of thought.
i look at so many hollywood actors who i believe have had extremely successful careers but they are definitely not on the scale of a brad pitt, catherine zeta jones, kate blanchet etc. (just to pick some random names from a hat). i look at people like joan cusack, for example, and the kind of characer actress she has been and the many varied roles i have enjoyed watching her do. she hardly gets recoginized for her contributions but i think she’s great. is she considered “A-list?” no. do i think she’s had a “successful” career? hell yeah.
so, why can’t we just sit back and watch both zac and vanessa as actors and not get overly anxious about who is getting more movie roles and who’s movies get better critical acclaim, make more money at the box office blah blah. if they are enjoying doing what they do, that’s all that matters. in the meantime, i find it completely heartwarming that they’ve got each other for support and comfort. shoot me for liking them as a couple too.
