Vanessa Hudgens delivers a Beastly Sucker Punch
The second half of 2009 is looking very much like a very busy time for Vanessa Hudgens (and will make her a semi-permanent resident of Canada, eh?)
Vanessa is set to start filming on not one, but TWO films.
The first is a movie adaptation of a book by Alex Flinn called “Beastly”. A modern take on the classsic story “Beauty and the Beast”, the movie will center around a rich handsome teenage boy who turns into a “beast” after witch cursed him for being mean and insensitive. Vanessa will play the female lead, Linda/Lindy. Filming starts mid-June in Montreal.
If you are a true Vanessa fan, you’ve heard the rumbling on the second movie for a couple of months now. Some of you are probably still waiting for Zack Synder to confirm…but we can definitely tell you that Vanessa will be in Warner Brothers’ “Sucker Punch”. Filming for that will start in September, reportedly in Vancouver.
So, are we excited?? or are we EXCITED????
UPDATE: Alex Pettyfer is in talks to star opposite Vanessa in “Beastly”. Here’s a video of him:

its pretty surprising they even put that up in the first place. it seemed pretty obvious it wasn’t him.
I couldn’t see the pic… what was the supposed “Zac” doing?
Haven, it was some guy wearing a knit hat like Zac does with another guy carrying iced coffees. But, it so obviously wasn’t Zac. The guy had zits and pock marks on the side of his face–like after you have a chemical peel done for acne treatment. Not Zac’s nose or mouth. I can’t believe GG even thought it was him. I guess they got lots of e-mails from fans letting them know it wasn’t Zac. They took the pics down. Wonder how much money the paps got for those.
You can now vote on this years top and most anticipated summer movies in different categories and Vanessa is up in the #10. Which TV-to-movie star are you most excited to see? On moviefone.com. I doubt this is anything more then just for fun but it was fun to see her up there since the other films are mostly big expected blockbusters like Harry Potter, Transformers, Star Trek and Terminator and actors from them.

I think this trip is Berlin and Madrid. Berlin premiere is on the 26th and Madrid one on the 27th. I don’t think there are any others.
