   As for the shoot, Zac did not mean/want to hurt anyone. He meant well. Although I wasn’t a fan, I still respect him.

   When is V going to have her case about her record company (or whatever its about). Is it going to be sometimes this month or next month? Does anyone know when she’s going to start working on her new album?

   I’m fine with this in this magazine. I have two kids, and they’re not going to see this photo. If I bought the mag, I wouldn’t go out of my way to hide it, because it’s just nudity, it doesn’t show them doing anything. I’d rather he showed his range this way than by partying or fighting or mouthing off.

   What I really liked was the interview, especially when he said he’s fallen in love before, and I’ve never heard him say that even though it’s obvious he and V are in love! I’m glad he’s comfortable enough to share.

   this photo sure created the buzz and controversy that Zac and his team wanted. And this was timed to make sure he gets name recognition as his movie 17 Again is going to hit theatres, and his MAOW will be shown towards the end of the year.

   and if you are observant enough, you will see the ring on his right hand, while embracing the model.

   for me, this photoshoot is artsy and good. it would have been real hot if HE was umm in the buff…ha..ha..

   I don’t really like this shoot. It’s not so much the fact that it’s with another woman, and not Vanessa, or that I’m too immature or uptight to accept it. I know Zac and Van won’t always do photoshoots together, and I’m sure Vanessa’s fine with the shoot (I’m not gonna go all optimistic and say she LIKES it though. She may be 20 and in a solid relationship, but that doesn’t mean she’s an emotionless robot), and I’d like to think that I’m generally an easy-going, mature and understanding person.

   I just think it’s too much too soon. And honestly, I don’t see the point of the naked woman. Why not just make him shirtless and wet instead? He can still shed that Disney image (albiet, a little slower, but the idea would eventually get across)and we’d get to see him half-naked. It’s a win-win.

   But this…I can’t help but see this as anything else but trashy.

   there’s a great article about it on EW. Can’t bring it over as I’m on my iPhone, but it’s a good read. And they make valid points. I think the media has been positive, just some crazy blog people have caused a sligg negative reaction. I’m happy about that though, as I do think it was a good risk. I’m still in awe over the pics. Truly beautiful.

    Thanks for that article, Chay. I really like that Zac took a risk and people are talking about it. He has his first starring role in a movie coming out and this just creates more buzz about him. I understand that some are uncomfortable with the nude model, but this mag seems known for that.

    I think that we are not going to always like what Zac or any of our favorite stars do or say. That is life, but they have to branch into new things as they get older.

    exactly right Tina. It all serves a purpose. Good or bad. And again, indint think it’s too soon to shed his image. The sooner the better as the longer it’s left in many respecst, the harder it would be. It’s not major. Like the article said, how else would he do it? Interview is a highly respected publication. It’s anything but trashy .it’s art. Photography is art, and this shoot is a perfect example. It’s an edgy shoot I will grant you that, but for Zac, not the magazine. I doubt V cares, she is too secure as a person, and obviously Zac took the risk, it was his choice and therefore he wanted to do it, and I’m so
    proud of him for that. His contempries are already Making bold choices. Rob with his full on gay scene, Shia and even people like the guys on gossip girl. If he didn’t take some kind of risk, Zac would be forever Disney. This is tame in comparison to most. And almost vunerable to.

    I just saw a documentay about one of the UK’s most prominent singers. He was very insightful and something he said rings true especially in relation to this. He said that in photoshoots you play a role. It’s not yourself, but is work. It’s to portray someone else, a different self. A projcted image really. And I think it’s resonates with this as it is just work. It’s tastefully done and is a brilliant step forward.

    After reading all these comments i can’t help but think how fickle zac’s fans are. I don’t want to start a agruement but some of ya’ll are blowing this completely out of proportion i don’t understand the big idea in some places nudity is looked upon as art ya’ll acting like this is a porno or something, i understand that some of you are younger then others but do you lose respect for Angelina Jolie when she’s naked in a movie no and zac’s not even naked he’s just with someone that is, i love this photoshoot its age appropiate he’s 21 yes I’ll repeat 21 he looks hot the model looks hot, its not trashy to me this doesn’t look like playboy it looks artsy so some of you really need to look up the definition of trashy because this photoshoot is clearly not

    I didn’t like this photoshoot and bla bla bla.
    But I can get really really good things of this interview.
    First: Zac said that fallen in love in HSM… this is so romantic.
    And then, he said that wants to come back to Brazil! YEAAAAAAAAH, come back, Zac and Vanessa!

    I hope to see soon Zanessa sightings and I hope Vanessa go to Paris with him.

    everyone needs to talk with all the “i dont like it blah blah…”
    i mean interview magazine is for a more mature adult audience so i think zac and his team thought that only the people that BUY the magazine are those older audience,thus his YOUNGER AUDIENCE will not see it.

    nd its more art than a racy photoshoot than anything
    really…i mean hello miley???
    she was THIS close to showing all in a magazine cover when almost all her fanbase are kids that look up to her. and to add on, shez only 15 or 16!
    thats lyk a freakin kid , while zac is an old 21 one year old male and he had clothes on!!!
