Yes, it’s true. HSM4 is happening. We may or may not see Sharpay back in action at East High or even Chad because you know they’re both at University of Albuquerque, who knows. I’m looking forward to new plot deets….especially to see if Kenny Ortega is back as director/choreographer/God.
Here’s what we know so far: East meets West in a classic love triangle set against the cross-town school rivalry between the East High Wildcats and West High Knights. West Side Story anyone?

Though the love triangle sounds interesting. Out of curiosity, I may watch it, but probably not on the day it’s released. Honestly, I’m not fond of Disney continuing the franchise, and it won’t be the same without the original six and their genuine chemistry.

ZA fan says: If Ashley reprise her role as Sharpay for HSM4, I know definitely the movie will be a success. Ashley, as Sharpay, can carry the movie and bring in many viewers for HSM4. Ashley can also bring in higher ratings for Disney Channel as well. Of course, Ashley (Sharpay) will have mostly all the screen times, scripts, songs, and dances to HSM4 in order to be successful. There is an opening for Sharpay to return with the new cast members and with her as an drama teacher assistant will make a better story line for HSM4 along with the new cast members.

Well, am not wasting my precious dough on this at the cinema. Will watch it if it is shown on TV. I just wish the young uns at least half the success achieved by the old team.

I don’t get the hole idea on HSM4, if not eny of the 6 main cast that have been there in 3 movies, why make an 4 of it? i don’t think that it’s gonna be eny hit, Because they made it clear that this would be goodbye, and so we were ready to say goodbye.
You can’t just replase some one that have been there in 3 movies!
But That’s just my opinion!
