No “New Moon” for Brenda Song

For those who got so scared that the Twilight franchise will be overtaken by “Disney princesses”, it’s time to party.

Brenda Song will not be in the second installment of the Twilight series: New Moon.

Brenda spoke exclusively to M Magazine to clear up the rumor. Though she is a big fan and would surely love to be part of the movie, she will definitely NOT going to be part of it.

So no Brenda or Vanessa in New Moon.

Everyone can go to sleep peacefully tonight.

   I was really kind of hopefully that vanessa would get in, but its just another showbiz rumor. Damn. :/ When i read the books i totally could see her pulling off a character like leah, but. like i said, thats over.

   Well…long time without posting here…sorry; TH has that…it’s like a magnet I’ll try to balance more…because I also have FF a little left aside lately :blush:

   well, back to topic: I am glad Vanessa is out of New Moon because I don’t want for her to be in another franchise, but with Brenda is different. Though I haven’t read “New Moon” yet and I don’t know how is this “Leah” character, it’d be a huge step for her carreer.

   anyway, it’s their choice; they know what they want to do and what they don’t want to do…so…move on; we have to respect whichever option they decide to pick

   all of this speculation was kind of useless anyway because the script-writer for the movie isn’t even writing Leah into the movie. so really, nobody is gonna play Leah.

    I love twilight and I’ve been a hudge fan of the books 4ever I don’t think either of them would have “ruined” it for me at all. Esspiacally since in New Moon Leah as such a small part.

    em, how are they not writing leah into the script? her roles is bigger in the following books and if she comes out of no where in those.. it won’t make sense

    “”If Vanessa is auditioning for the role of Leah,” said Melissa Rosenberg, New Moon scribe. “She’s written her own pages to read, ’cause I didn’t write ‘em.” Apparently, Leah’s character won’t even be IN New Moon. “

    I am so glad that Leah was not even being cast. Are all these Twilighters now happy, I am glad the Brenda hate bash is over… And Leah is a small character!

    no offense but this blog entry is a little bitter. i always thought it was beneath VABN to do entries like this, and i’m slightly disappointed to find out you would stoop to this level. you’re treating disney haters practically the same way they treat disney stars.
    everyone has their opinions; it’s no reason to carry on with all this resentment.

    maybe i read it wrong and this was supposed to be respectful in some way, but you might want to make it more clear next time…
