It took awhile and granted it’s not in the Top 40 chart, but we’ll take this with pride and joy.
Vanessa Hudgen’s first single off her second album “Identified” has cracked the top 10 of Billboard’s “Hot Dance Club Play” chart!
I have been closely monitoring its steady rise for the past several weeks; and been waiting patiently for it to reach at least the #10 spot so I could share this bit of good news.
I know some people might not see this as much of an achievement, but not around here. It’s the little single that could – and it has proven itself that it has legs even without a radio release. And take note – it charted in the Dance Club chart, which means that club DJ’s and clubgoers (way beyond what HR deemed as the target demographic for “Identified”) are enjoying this single.
Hopefully, the single is not done climbing the charts.
