From ‘Mollywood’ to ‘Sunny’

The name change of an upcoming television show is not all that unheard of. Did you know that Hannah Montana was once upon a time going to be Alexis Texas? No lies, folks. And the same is happening to Demi Lovato’s Mollywood.

VABN reported back in May that Demi was to have her own show on Disney called Welcome to Mollywood and now thanks to JustJared, Spanish magazine Para Todos and some other folks about the ‘net, we’ve found out they have decided to play the name change game.

Now reportedly called ‘Sonny with a Chance’, Demi says this to the magazine:

“It’s about a girl named Sonny having a chance to make it in [show] business,” the 16-year-old Camp Rock star tells the mag. “We filmed the first episode and we will continue to film the series through the next few months.”

    Alexis Texas? Gee… what a great imagination! l.o.l.. Sunny with a chance.. umm.. Okay… Mollywood was cool.. okay i’ll accept it.. umm. and did you know Wizards Of Waverly place was goin’ to be: The Great Orrileys (however you spell it) and Alex’s name was Brook.. uhh thank god it’s WOWP and Alex, and Russo ahhaha

    And Alexis Texas sounds soooo weird…
    but if that was what it was really called
    then we heard it was supposed to be
    Hannah Montana we would be like

    I /definitely/ prefer Hannah Montana. Alexis Texas sounds horrible. xD
