“Rock On” is now “Bandslam”?
In a recent interview, Vanessa Hudgens was asked about her upcoming project. When she mentioned her upcoming movie, “Rock On” – with Gaelan Connell and Aly Michalka, she mentioned that the movie might be changing titles (again!).
First the movie was going to be called “Will” and then it changed to “Rock On” and now it might change again? I don’t know what all these means, to be honest.
I checked Summit Entertainment’s website for more information, except for a release date of April 10, 2009 – there’s really no clue on the title change there. Just last week, when Entertaiment Tonight had a segment on Summit’s upcoming movies it mentioned “Rock On” being slated for release in April 2009; but no mentioned of title change. So who knows?
The new title of the movie is reportedly – “Bandslam”
So “Bandslam” – you like, don’t like?
.
What do you think about all this commotion? Do you think this will affect the movie in any way?
Share you thoughts.

I really wish they would stop changing the title of the movie! I thought “Will” was the best title, IMO. I also wish this movie would come sooner, like this year, instead of April 2009! That’s more than a year after they finished filming it!
i liked “will” but “bandslam” seems to fit the movie better…”rock on” is just too cliche for me.
I say they call it Rebel Rebel after the david Bowie song.
bandslam is the best title so far, i think.
STOP CHANGING THE NAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
