MTV is giving you the power

MTV is giving its viewers the power to pick the nominees for this year’s Video Music Awards. Support your fav VABN stars by voting for their music videos and viewing them at MTV.com – since the number of views the video get on their site gives it a bigger chance to be nominated (and is shown on the first page of the list of potential nominees).

It looks like they are handling this one major category each week. First up is Best Video; and since we are only concern about the Female – here’s the link of the potential Best Female Video nominees (Ashley’s “He said She Said” is on the first page; Vanessa’s “Sneakernight” is on the third page).

Voting for this one ends on Wednesday, July 23rd. Nominees are announced on Friday, July 25th. Remember, you have to watch their videos on MTV.com to make them more visible to other voters

Next week’s category is for “Best Pop” – we’ll have to try to get our girls on that as well.

You have to be a registered member to vote; but membership is free — SO GO!!!

   I voted for ashley because honestly, HSSS is the better song and had the better video, it was more mature.

   ummm, can’t we vote for both? Do we have to choose? Because I love HSSS so much but Sneakernight is so super cute. I’m gonna try!

   vote vanessa, she has more singing ability than ashley, and she danced way better in the sneakernight video, than ashley did in the he said she said video, mind you i adore both girls

    I’m closing comments on this one to avoid any infighting. You guys should vote for the video you like best. If you can vote for both then great. If not – oh well.. there’s really no need to put down the other video just because you don’t like it..
