MTV is just a plethora of information right now, but I’m not complaining and neither should you! You see, because Friday Night (the 18th) on the more appropriate FNMTV, The Jonas Brothers will be on performing their new single, Burning Up! And Bonus after that, is a special performance of S.O.S., which if I recall right, was the major single that launched them into boy-rock-band superstardom.
During the show, they’ll have, of course, The Jonas Brothers with fan interviews and all that. I can’t mimick MTV’s hilarity though. But on top of that is a ‘Special VMA Announcement’. We can only speculate what it’s about – apparently fans get to nominate their own choices this year. So, can we nominate Sneakernight for best choreography? Because, yea, it owns. And this is actually coming from choreographer in her own right. Or maybe I can get Julianne Hough’s That Song in My Head video on there for best hair? No? Okay, that’s out. I still want her hair.
2008 marks the 25th annual VMAs, and to celebrate, MTV is heading to Hollywood, and we’re taking over every inch of Paramount Studios. That’s right — instead of ushering your favorite A-list artists, reality stars, record-breakers, trouble-makers, models and other beautiful people straight to the velvety seats of your average auditorium, we’re turning them loose on the movie sets, lots and hallowed Hollywood ground of Paramount Studios.
So, on September 7, 2008, at 9PM, you can watch history get made as we celebrate the 25th annual VMAs, live from Paramount Studios in Hollywood. It could only happen in the movies, or, in this case, at the 2008 MTV VMAs. And, of course, it all happens live, so anything and everything can happen — and it probably will.
Word has it that Ms. Miley Ray Cyrus will be there too. We shall see. September 7th is on my calendar. How about yours?
