a chance encounter with Ashley

Here’s an entry from our guest VABN blogger, Carrie – who while visiting Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf in Toluca Lake had a chance to chat with its most frequent and famous visitor.
So when Chay first asked me to do this I was still completely on a high (or as I tell the girls, walking towards the light!!! Dont worry I havent gone in it yet Molly! 
) So being in LA for the summer has been an amazing experience, and I have learned alot. But of course before I even came out here I was wondering if I could see any of my fav celebs. Well today it happened. As I was sitting inside Coffee Bean and as I look over who happens to walk in the door, our favorite coffee addict Miss Ashley Tisdale! So as Ashley walks in to order I go get in line behind her and place my order for a new drink as well. Now I am a big fan of Ashley’s so of course my ringtone on my cell phone is her song HSSS. Well what happens as I am waiting in line behind Ashley, my mom calls and my phone starts playing the song. So I think it took Ashley by surprise because she quickly looked over her shoulder at me as I answered the phone to talk to my mom. So after I placed my order I went back over to my table and grabbed my notebook to ask for an autograph. Walking over to Ashley I was somewhat nervous to ask her. As it turned out there was no need to be nervous, Ashley was super sweet about the whole thing. After she asked my name and was signed the autograph I had mentioned that I had seen her before in NYC for her different appearences with my friends. My friends and I always wear the same shirts when we meet her so as I brought this up Ashley smiled and totally remembered who I was. She signed the autograph and said thank you to me for being such a big fan. After the autograph my friend that had come to Coffee Bean with me asked for a picture. Ashley again was all smiles as she agreed to the picture only after saying that she looked bad. Well if that is looking bad for her then I want to look like that everyday because she looked super cute! So Ashley took a picture with my friend and then she took another one with me before walking out the door and into the awaiting flashes of the paps!

Chay- You know I should have brought up VABN but I was so focused on the autograph and pic my mind was going crazy. Your lucky I didnt go back towards the light!!
