the “Identified” countdown: 3 days

Have I mentioned Sneakernight has legs? It does. Most reviews that have given the album a good feedback overall have also singled out (no pun intended ) the single as one of the best (if not the best) in the album.

The single is on a steady climb in ITunes (currently at #71) more than a month after it first became available for download. This is a good indication that people has come to love the single, enough to add to their collection.

Hopefully the video’s premiere on MTV this coming Wednesday will help introduce the single (and the album) to a new audience.

We can only really hope at this point.

I brought over 2 reviews from yesterday, in case you missed them. I’ll add anything else that comes up today here; so keep checking back.

I am not happy about the songs for hsm3.
I thought there would be more troyella songs.
And there isn’t a gabriella solo!
also, I’m really dissappointed in the fact that sharpay will try to steal troy again. I’m so sick of that storyline. She turns from mean to nice over and over again.

Now, that is more of a specific review, which I like:)

It’s funny how many critics love Sneakernight yet so many V fans don’t care for that song and some list it as their least favorite from the album. Go figure.

I totally agress, ZanessaSupporter. That soundtrack doesn’t look too good for Gabriella. It looks quite lame. It helps confirm my worst fears about High School Musical 3. I’m glad I didn’t pre-order it. lol. I’m disappointed.

Some people also say the script aupposedly stinks.

I really think they should think about something new.
They are doing the same over and over again with Sharpay after troy, it gets really annoying. I, actually was very disappointed when I first saw hsm2. I really thought it was too much troy and sharpay. I actually just pretended to like it. But iI was very dissappointed. I didn’t get the feeling of what I felt in hsm. When I watched hsm i got that tingling feeling in my stomache, no matter how many times I watched it, it never stopped. Cuz troyella’s chemistry was soo strong. Now ofcourse, I don’t get the feeling anymore. But you can still see the chemistry between troyella. With Troy and Sharpay, not really!

most of the songs are sang by sharpy. the movie and the soundtrack are gonna suck…and i was so looking forward for HSM3 now i’m not even gonna watch it…….i hate ashley its all her fault not really but i have to blame someone.

I agree. HSM2 is a good movie and Gabriella is in it alot at times. But, she did kind of get left and seemed not to be as significant to the story as Troy and Sharpay.

Vanessa is 202 points ahead at Ali’s Blog! Keep voting. We can’t liet this one go now.

Well, I like Ashley. But, I also fear a repeat of HSM2. But, I’m gonna try and wait to see what else we hear as far as news about this movie is concerned. Zac and Vanessa did appear to spend alot of time in Utah filming this movie. But, that doesn’t necessarily reflect what the movie will be like.

I’ve been scanning through the Internet. 1 person insists the HSM3 soundtrack listing is correct.

Too bad Vanessa has been in Utah filming this movie when she could have been in L.A. promoting Identified. I’m much more excited about this great album.

oh yeah trooops, i remember from the thunderbirds premiere thats where he was talking about vanessa and he said, “i want to work with that girl.” thats fate right there

How do we know for sure that that soundtrack is accurate? I mean, Disney must know that we are so sick of Sharpay trying to steal Troy away from Gabriella. And I thought this movie was supposed to be about Troy and Gabriella dealing with the idea of going to different colleges. They should be getting more duets, or songs in general.

A seven minute song with Sharpay goes way past overkill. And those little shadow kids better not be getting more time than the rest of the cast. Poor Taylor’s been cut out, so has Gabriella, again. This is getting stupid. Why can’t Disney just stick with what worked in the original instead of trying to change it up?

wow am I the only one who absolutyl LOVES this songlist? I am not a huge fan of troyella I admit that(not zanessa i love them just not to fond of troyella) however even objectively if you think about it they have more than enough songs…troy and gabi do TWO duets, than troy does a song with chad as well as a song with the new kids,chad and sharpay plus the cast songs and bonus track whereas vanessa also has besides the TWO duets has a song with sharpay an=d the cast songs plus maybe some I am forgetting. I think anymore and that would be overkill. You all are seeming to forget that there are other people on the cast besides just zac and vanessa. the story shoudl not just focus around there relationship but around all of them. I think the songs sound amazing and I really hope hey are accurate. I think they alkl are in it eaqually except fro mionique and kelsi,martha,jason and zeke. in hsm2 you all keep saying that gabi didnt get that much screentime but really she did. troy,sharpay and gabi were pretty much equal who did that solo? it was gabi and what about the duets she did with troy? again gabi, she did not get shortchanged in that infact I think everyuone besides gabi and troy got shortchanged in the first one and it seems that you all want a repeat of that buit that would not be fair to the other charachters. i much prefer hsm2 for that reason and please do ot insult ashley b/c you dont like that she is in the movie alot that is rude and uncalled for thanks

I know what you mean, the whole thing has ‘FATE’ written all over it, heck, I don’t know exactly what date the premiere was or what date the HSM auditions was but I do know that it was about a year apart, hmm, so much can change in a year. Wouldn’t it have been cute if those two could have taken a picture together then or at least had bumped into each other at the snackbar or something (who knows, maybe they did stand close together at some point but didn’t think about it at the time), although, I dunno if it might have changed anything.

I have nothing against Ashley, I just really wish that they would let Sharpay’s character grow more and become something more then just the partly crazy rich girl, and yeah, every movie need the “mean” girl but I dunno, I guess that they could do more with the character then that if they really wanted to, but it seems like they don’t.
I really hope that at the end of this movie she will be a nicer and friendlier girl, because otherwise I feel sorry for her (because being ‘the mean girl’ might work in High School but people doesn’t take those attitudes in the adult life and then I wonder what would happen to her), also I would hate to see the movie end with someone being really bitter and angry, especially if everyone else is happy. No, I’m voting on a happy ending…for everyone.
