So, how many times have you played the album preview? Yeah, I stopped counting too. “It’s addicting! yeah yeah yeah”

Just make sure you share the preview with others (whether it’s on your Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, etc) – that would be one way for us to spread the word.

Latest from Hollywood Records – Per Luis (through Tim):

“Hook it Up” is on the short list of songs being considered for the next single. What do you think about that? ETA: the other two being considered are “Identified” and “First Bad Habit”
This is a bit of a bad news: Sneakernight has not been sent to radio for adds as we previously thought; and is looking more unlikely right now that HR will send it. So our hopes of making this single a Top40 hit has greatly diminished
Promotion stops are still being finalized

Don’t forget to vote for Vanessa in Ali’s blog. We have until the end of this month, so let’s phase ourselves – keep it close. This one is not a sprint; it’s a marathon.

Anyway, it looks like Germany gets the album next week too! Lucky duckies! So now we have:

i’m greatly even more disappointed in HR.

anyways, i love “hook it up” but i wanted her next single to be either “paper cut,” “don’t leave” or “don’t ask why.”

i think if the single is dont leave it will really go big because its so adorable. I think that a 5 year old can like that song but a 19 year old with a bf can also relate to that song. the lyrics kinda remind me of no air which did amazing. plus it was written by jesse mccartney and he wrote bleeding love which was a world wide hit…

Those are definitely my favorites, but I think that Hook it Up will appeal to an older crowd too, not just young kids.

“Sneakernight” is #34 on iTunes Pop 100 songs!!!
It just needs to pass the Top 30 to enter the overall Top 100 chart!!!

of the three songs being considered for the second single, i think hook it up would attract non-fans. don’t ask why is too disney (sorry). identified wouldn’t be too bad.

i love love love don’t leave but i think v needs a second single that would attract everybody, girls/boys/men/women alike.

amazed is the one i could perceive as most mainstream, so that one wouldn’t be bad either.

I strongly agree with ssonfire – “hook it up” is a perfect choice for a second single (although i believe it will have done the album and Vanessa well if it was the first single).

I love the album especially these songs:
identified
hook it up
don’t ask why
amazed
paper cut
party on the moon
did it ever cross your mind
gone with the wind

However, my absolute favuorite is party on the moon!!!

I don’t like last night, first bad habit, sneakernight and don’t leave. I wish she added the one Hilary duff wrote and exchanged it with sneakernight cuz to me sneakernight doesn’t blend in with the album.
Hopefully hook it up will be the next single. Fingers crossed…
