The “Identified” countdown: 12 days

So, how many times have you played the album preview? Yeah, I stopped counting too. “It’s addicting! yeah yeah yeah” ;)

Just make sure you share the preview with others (whether it’s on your Myspace, Facebook, Friendster, etc) – that would be one way for us to spread the word.

Latest from Hollywood Records – Per Luis (through Tim):

  • “Hook it Up” is on the short list of songs being considered for the next single. What do you think about that? ETA: the other two being considered are “Identified” and “First Bad Habit”

  • This is a bit of a bad news: Sneakernight has not been sent to radio for adds as we previously thought; and is looking more unlikely right now that HR will send it. So our hopes of making this single a Top40 hit has greatly diminished

  • Promotion stops are still being finalized

Don’t forget to vote for Vanessa in Ali’s blog. We have until the end of this month, so let’s phase ourselves – keep it close. This one is not a sprint; it’s a marathon.

Anyway, it looks like Germany gets the album next week too! Lucky duckies! So now we have:

    Hmmmm I still havent heard any of the song
    clips because of my computer. =[ but everyone
    is making me so excited to hear them!

    I LOVE the whole album, and the songs that should be singles should be…

    Hook it up – Cause that song is SUPER hot, and I LOVE it. Most of the poeple I’ve showed the clips to LOVE that song.. so that would be a really really good choice!

    Don’t Leave – Is so nice and sweeet! I love it.

    Or Party on the moon, but Identified is good too!

    I don’t know, I’m not a huge fan of Hook It Up. It’s a really good club song, and song in general, but it’s very Gwen Stefani-ish. She should have a song that’s uniquely her own. I love Identified and First Bad Habit equally, but I think First Bad Habit is a little less Disney, which is why it would be my pick.

    I’m still a little iffy on Last Night and Hook It Up, but the other songs are incredible! I almsot feel bad saying this, but I was discouraged and hesitant about her album after Sneakernight came out. But the other songs on her album have proved me wrong, and I’m so glad that they did.

    I can’t choose which is my favorite. They’re all so amazing!

    Her next single should be “First Bad Habit”!

    To be honest…the only reason i don’t like “Hook It Up” is because she sounds like Ashley Tisdale….and that’s not a compliment.

    I strongly believe that “First Bad Habit” will become a big hit if it’s her next single. It sounds like a song that would come out on a popular radio station like KIISFM or something you’d hear in a club.

    i’m happy if ‘Hook It Up’ is the next single.. cuz thats one of my many faves. But if those other 2 mentioned is the next single.. then i’d be happy with that too.. cuz they’re AMAZING!!

    “Sneakernight” is down to #35 on iTunes Pop 100 songs!!!
    It just needs to pass the Top 30 to enter the overall Top 100 chart!!!

    First Bad Habit all the way.

    It’s the most unique song of her new album that’s not too Disney-ish, or too whiny. :D
