i want less troy and less sharpay. i like troy, and im pretty sure everyone else does too, but he was too much. they should focus on someone else this time around.
i hate sharpay. shes so one-sided and way too over the top. all she does is sit around and plot evil things.
we dont need a whole movie focused on just her planning revenge against the wildcats again. thats just boring and unoriginal, but thats really all shes good for, causing drama, which is annoying.
this movies about troy and gabriella again tho, and it has to do with splitting up for college and i hope we see more friendship stuff and more taylor/chad, troy/gabriella suff.

There has got to be better balance in HSM3 than the second one.

Also, I don’t think Zac/Troy fans have any complaints either when it comes to HSM2. He was in that one maybe even more than Sharpay.

i seem to be alone in this but i loved the amount of tiem sharpay got in the 2nd movie and i love that shes mean..thats what makes the movie what it is otherwise there woudl be no drama and all just happy peoel..thats boring. and i love ASHLEY wooooooo

The Forbes list was based on the amount of times the person was in the news and how much money they made for the year.
I also think there was a little to much Sharpay in HSM2. I love Ashley’s comedic acting (have seen the start of Suite Life) but I wanted to see more of the relationships between Troy and Gabriella and Chad and Taylor. They could have also did more on the budding friendships with Ryan.

I’ve tried to translate it from Swedish, some with more success then others:

4. He has won awards for playing one of the twins in the movie ‘Miracle Run’.
3. He played Cameron Bale in ‘Summerland’.
2. He was in the hit movie ‘Hairspray’ which came out 2007.
1. He’s dating Vanessa Hudgens whom he also stared with in ‘High School Musical’.

I agree that there was too much Sharpay in HSM2. Between ‘You Are the Music in Me’ and ‘I Don’t Dance’ there were no songs just a 15 minutes long golf scene with the Evans, Chad, Ryan but mostly with Troy and Sharpay. And given the fact that we are talking about a musical, the (altogether 30 minutes long) “silence” was frustrating in a way. I understand that the golf scene was necessary because of the plot (Mr. Evans vs. Troy, scholarship, etc.) but it was really annoying and too long because nothing really important happened. (I also know that the deleted scene was between ‘YATMIM’ and ‘IDD’ but that was about Troy, Ryan and Sharpay, again. So, all in all, the fans of Troy and Gabriella didn’t enjoy the movie as much.)

Ashley Tisdale is hilarious. She is a perfect Sharpay: she has style, attitude and cool facial expressions. But I don’t believe that we need more Sharpay scenes than in HSM1. I think that the characters should focus on their feelings (love, friendship, separation, fear of the future, etc.) and not fight against each other. At the age of 18, people have more problems than making a couple break up. Sharpay is a cool girl and she sknows that. Or I hope so.

If Sharpay tries to break Troy and Gabriella up again in HSM3, I’m going to be more than sorely disappointed. One of the main reasons why HSM2 pains me so badly is because there was no character development at all from HSM1 to HSM2 with her. (I know it’s a Dis movie, but come on.) She seems like she redeemed herself in HSM1…and then suddenly decides to be a wicked witch again. Uh? Can’t we think of other conflicts besides SHARPAY IS A MEANIE LOL?

It was weird that Vanessa didn’t get a place on that list, especially since it said ‘heads to the big screen as Vanessa Hudgens’ foil in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.’ on Ashley’s part, I mean, shouldn‘t that prove that she’s more popular, if they felt the need to add Vanessa’s name so that people knew who Ashley was? Well, maybe not, but I still think that it proved a point.

Who knows though, maybe they couldn’t get the hold of what Vanessa earns, I dunno, she have been on that list though, two years ago, when she earned $5mil.

I think that if Sharpay change her style and attitude (no more of this trying to break Troy and Gabriella up, but other then that she can be pretty cool sometimes) then I can give her maybe a little more screen time then HSM but not as in HSM2, but if she keeps acting the way she did in HSM2 then I wish she’ll get less, it was a bit over the top for my taste in HSM2 for me to want to sit my way through it again (even if the triple Troyella kiss in the end made it worth it, it still wasn’t fun)

To hell with the Forbes 100 list, it is only just a survey and we all know such surveys are not totally accurate. It is like getting the nod from an Elite Inner Circle.

Ashley makes a good comedic actress, she has that look,just like Miley. Anyway to be frank,I got hooked on HSM for the romance factor and the fact that it spilled over onto real life. Sighhh I was just so taken with Gabriella(Vanessa Hudgens)her transformation from hsm1( a shy,very young looking girl)into this vivacious,gorgeous beauty singing Baby Come Back.
