the ranking doesn’t really matter…

Two of our favorite young ladies, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, are included in this year’s Maxim Hot 100 list. Ashley got the #10 spot, while Vanessa is at #12. I say those are very good standing, considering these two ladies are more well-known for a little movie franchise that is targeted towards a much younger demographic.

As far as whose higher in the ranking – that really doesn’t matter. This type of list is a dime a dozen these days. And most importantly – these lists are very subjective.

The fact of the matter is – they now have a higher profile and the (adult) male demographic has taken notice. They need that to go far in the industry they are in.

I say – “good for you” Ashley and Vanessa!

I have disabled comments for this post. I’m all for expressing your opinion – heck that’s what I’m doing with this blog. But I will not allow this place to turn into a war zone. It saddens me that there are people out there that still can’t get pass the fact that it really isn’t necessary to pit these two girls against each other. You don’t have to like both – we are not asking you to; but you don’t have to hate one because you like the other, either.

   I think Vanessa is WAYWAYWAYYYY prettier than Ashley… and she definitely deserves a higher ranking but I guess Ashley is older and it is more fitting.

   But there is no doubt that Vanessa is prettier.

   To be honest it’s just a men’s magazine and is based on who that particular magazine think is hot at that time. It changes all the time and is very different from magazine to magazine.
   The list is not about how talented you are. It’s about how hot someone thinks you are. Personally there are people who are much hotter who are much lower on the list and some people should not be in it at all. But then again that’s my opinion.

   My grievance is altogether different. No Monique! She continues to be slighted by most publications, blogs, etc. Nevertheless, she’s an intelligent, energetic, sexy and beautiful young lady! No comparison needed. Monique is truly in a class by herself.

   Vanessa is much sexier than Ashley. Vanessa is natural and exotic while Ashley is just another dumb blonde with a nose job (a boob job will come in about 3 years). The only reason why Ashley was ranked higher is because she was featured in the magazine late last year. Heres the scan:

   Anyways Vanessa has already been recognized by male demographic by GQ, AskMen, & FHM. Ashley didnt make the askMen or FHM lists and has never had an actual photoshoot for men’s magazine. The funny part is shes like 23 and Vanessa is 19.

    I’m sorry Chay but it’s just my opinion. I do like Ashley. She’s a great actress and her album is a great pop record (even if she has no vocal talent) But when it comes down to it people like one over the other Vanessa or Ashley you cant love both the same. That just how its always going to be. Just like Hilary and Lindsay or Britney & Christina.
