Selena Gomez for HR?
This is the first time I get to write a letter to Selena! So, let’s just jump right to it, shall we?
Dear Selena;
Reports are coming in and I’ve been paying attention and as resident fangirl of Demi&Selena&Friends because you all are awesome, I want what’s best for you. But are you sure that HR is the best for you? According to E!Online’s Mark Malkin and his “source”, you’re really getting pampered by Hollywood Records aren’t you? Can I present my evidence now? Yay!
I only have one exhibit for you to look at and it’s rather easy, she as well was pampered by HR to sign and well, look how well that’s going now. Vanessa Hudgens.
It’s a short letter I know, but Selena, my love, if any other record company shows the least amount of interest in you and your voice and rocks, show them some love and listen to them too. We don’t want HR to make a bad name out of you. But if you do decide to go with HR, we get full dibs on the official street team, k?

Thanks for that “enlightenment”. I guess since Miley is HR’s biggest entity right now, we are comparing her promo to that. But HR also needs to realize that when she lost the ‘kid’ fans she gained a lump of adult fans. My faith is still not half behind HR because even look at Raven’s promo. She just released a great CD with good sounds and good structure. Where’s the promo there?
I’m willing to see what kind of promo HR has in store for Identified… I just still don’t understand why retailers are publishing a July 1st release date but HR hasn’t done anything to confirm or deplore that date.
HR likes to promote artists that they know will bring in the money. It’s pretty clear Raven has never had a hit album so once again they didn’t promote her. However its pretty clear Vanessa can sell and is very marketable. HR is a cheap label. If they paid for producers like JR Rotem & Dr. Luke for Vanessa’s album there gonna try to get all that money back through album sales, endorsementss, etc.
So truth with Raven’s CD, Jill. I’m really disappointed with HR and all the horrible management with their artists. And Vanessa having a cut in her promo is just the beginning, hopefully not, but I have seen this once with Hilary Duff, that’s how it all started for her, and now she’s full of problems with them.
I don’t trust HR as a good label, so I’m crossing my fingers for Selena accepting with another label, but also it’s pretty sure that’s the way is going to end. Demi is already with them
