As I’ve mentioned before it takes me awhile to really feel the song and say whether I like it or not. I’ve listened to it several times already - but I’m still undecided. I think I’m getting too old for this kind of song? Hmmm..

Breakout is in stores July 22nd.

    I don’t know why she gets so much attention. Vanessa deserve more promotion than her, it’s too bad ;[

    I had my daughter listen to it this morning. She’s a huge fan, but her comment was “she sings the same note the entire song.” So I listened to it again, and she’s close there isn’t much of a range,one note for the slow section, one note for the sped up section with a couple 3-4 note runs to fill.

    You’ll get no disagreememnt from me. I hope Vanessa gets a new record label. Hollywood Records isn’t doing much for her.

    RK,

    there’s no doubt in my mind that V’s a better vocalist.. but that doesn’t necessarily help her out when she’s on a music label that is fully backing 2 other artists && leaving little attention for other, while well-known, are not top banking like Miley is.. (she’s on her way to making them billions, if she hasn’t already)

    which is sad.

    When Miley sings country her voice is stronger and more confident. Her voice has to much of a “twang” for pop she would sound better on a country record. Once she gets older, I think she will either have to drop the accent or move over to country.
    Not feeling this song at all.

    IMHO, Vanessa is a much better vocalist that Miley Cyrus. And, I don’t think age has anything to do with it, either.
