Demi is out; Lindsey now rings the ‘Bell’

The Second Season of the states’ version of the popular short series, As the Bell Rings, is a go and will premiere on July 6th. But, without Charlotte (Demi Lovato).

Put on your HSM hats and imagine Gabriella moving away again, what would happen? Well, easy, they’d get a new one. A Lexi, played by Lindsey Black. Her IMDB profile may be blank for now, but she’s got a photo up and is definitely a cutie. I think I already like her better with Danny - played by Tony Oller, one of our favorite guys here at VABN. Throughout the season, we’ll even get to hear Tony sing three of his songs. Yay!

In the premiere episode, Danny is sad that Charlotte (played by Demi Lovato) has moved away. But his spirits are soon lifted after the gang introduces him to Lexi and he then realizes he has met her before. Met her before? Hmmmm, sounds a little familiar, no?

In the next few episodes, Lexi finds where she fits in with the group of students. Tiffany lets the guys in on her secret to taking the perfect school photo. Lexi is Danny’s muse as he writes a new song. Brooke films a documentary and Danny decides he wants to be a rock star. ToeJam gets study notes on “Romeo and Juliet” from Tiffany and Skipper doesn’t want to study for a test in Biology.
