Vanessa Music Update: Of Singles and Endorsements

We have the greatest sources and people ever bringing us information on Vanessa’s album. Just had to put that out there. And onto the real news, are we ready for this?
- Like we suspected, Sneakernight, was in fact chosen as the first single to promote Ecko Red.
- That new endorsement deal that was previously mentioned? Well, let’s just say it might not happen and it might go to another HR Recording Artist. Who? It’s not Hilary who’s getting it. We have our suspicions, but no said word on it. We can always speculate though.
- Sneakernight debuted on RD’s Top 30 at the #25 spot. So, what do you have to do? REQUEST IT!

I just went and looked at the picture of Zac and Vanessa from the weekend walking with arms around each other — oh yeah!!! — and if you notice — they are walking with the same foot forward again!! And someone posted the “mall picture” over the weekend again from last Fall and they were doing the same thing then - the same foot forward — you guys really have me looking for this now! Anyway - a great picture to see to end a busy Tuesday. Thanks.
OMG! I am totally loving the back/behind pictures of Zac and Vanessa! Like they are always so cute, and you can see the hand holding in the other one the other day durng rehersals, and now this?

Why are you guys always comparing HR singers with Hil??? reli curious, + I’m a Hilary Duff fan…
Sneakernight fits in with that commercial. But, I’m also not crazy about the crosss-marketing. I love the song and it’s better than most of the stuff Disney plays. So, I will continue to request it.
I’m not going to get into the HR stuff right now. It only depresses me. I need some coffee first.

I know it’s not the best idea.
But maybe we can send Vanessa a letter or find another way to contact her and than tell her if she might consider changing busininess. Away from HR. I know there is a very slim chance that she might read our letter or consider really going away, but we can always try. And we don’t have to send a letter. We can do something else too. And maybe send a letter to HR and tell them what we think about what they are doing to vanessa.

A writing campaign might be a good idea. But, despite how suspicious I am of HR, I am open to giving them the benefit of the doubt and see how the marketing of V’s new album plays out the rest of the way before I am convinced to take action. But, all the signs point to bad things so far.

Most people aren’t comparing Hilary at all with any other singers on the HR label. The person who is giving us the updates is first and foremost a Hilary Duff fan…but he also likes Vanessa. He has a source at HR and he gives updates sometimes, and he usually mentions Hilary too because he is a fan. In fact there are more updates in regards to Hilary from the same source that are not mentioned here because this blog focuses primarily on Disney stars (mainly HSM stars though). The comparisons if you see any aren’t intentional…the source is just a Hilary fan and she gets mentioned sometimes.
