Sneakernight played at a Top40 station already?

Sneakernight got it’s first documented Top40 spin this morning. Bobby Bones (who has been a Vanessa Hudgen’s supporter/fan since meeting her on the set of Will) of Austin’s 96.7 KissFM, played the single. We have a sneaky suspension he didn’t get it from Hollywood Records, if you know what I mean… he actually said the song leaked online! Amy and LB had to tell him the song title and showed him that they even know the lyrics already after a little bit of listen. 
And if you check out his show’s page – you can see that they think they can hear the theme of Sex and the City in Sneakernight… (similar to the sexual innuendo Blender mentioned?) :lmao:
As for their review, Amy said she didn’t like it – Bobby said it’s not too bad…
We’ll give you the link to the podcast when it becomes available; hopefully they’ll include the song, and the discussion that followed, on there.
You guys know what this mean? We can now ask Bobby to keep playing the song in his show… so go go go! (hopefully, we can change Amy’s opinion on the song)

BUt everybody has different taste.
I’m glad there are many people who do like the song.
I also think Vanessa’s ballad is going to be a hit.
She is really goood in ballads.
I love Sneakernight but too many people don’t like it, including these radio hosts. I think Vanessa’s new album might be in trouble despite her fine, maturing vocals because of a weak batch of songs. I hope this is not the case:(

Sneakernight is definitely a grower. Remember my first impression of it? I listen to it at least once or twice a day now…
Yeah…I have also noticed around the net that people who weren’t crazy about Sneakernight at first started to really love it after a few listens. It has to grow on some people, I guess. I think the song is unique and Vanessa’s singing is terrific.

I play it and find myself singing along in the car. I can see a video of Sneakernight being a big hit if it’s done right.
Oh yeah, I’m so exited, this is great and I hope that Amy will feel what most fans have, that they might not have liked it at first but after hearing it a few times it’s awesome, but yeah. I do hope that he will keep playing it and for more radio stations to pick it.
And I agree with you RK, I also believe in Vanessa but not so much in HR, and I do hope that if Vanessa will make another album, that she will sign with another record label, one that understands Vanessa and HER needs and wants, but also have faith in her, and not one that’s just interested in money, well, I guess they all are but you know what I mean.
Oh, I can imagine that as well Malia, and I really hope that it will be a hit.
I can imagine the video starting with Vanessa going into like a dance club, it’s just a few lights on and an empty dance floor, everyone looks down and sad and bored, she looks around then she spot the hot guy across the room (at this time she’s wearing high heals) then she takes a step onto the dance floor and lots and lots of lights turns on and her high heals transform into some cool sneakers and she either start dancing there and is joined by the guy who’s completely mesmerised by her, or she walks over and grab his arm and start dancing with him (he’s still mesmerised by her), then when she sings “yeah that’s right, it’s sneaker night” the first time, everyone’s shoes in the dance club turns into sneakers and everyone starts dancing with Vanessa and the guy in the front, I do imagine them then moving it outside, maybe it’s the sunset in LA and down by the beach walk so that you can see it in the background and everyone that passes shoes turns into sneakers and everyone feel the urge to dance, either that or maybe their in a backstreet and everyone in the neighbourhood looks out the windows and walk out the door and once their out their shows turns into sneakers as well, and they start dancing. I dunno, that’s my idea, dunno if anyone wanted to hear it though, oh well.
i think Bobby only played it to get Vanessa on his show because people have been asking a lot

The Iowa State Fair is only 2 hours and 42 min away and tickets go on sale May 17th which is 2 days after payday. That might be a little too tempting to let pass by. Illinois State Fair is the week before Iowa so if she comes here also I could possibly see her twice in 1 week. HMMM make note, may need to pick up additional job.

yea the song is one of those songs that grows on you. but some people would definitely love it at first hear like my friend. her voice is very mature too and I love it!

I saw the pictures of Vanessa in GQ and WOW! She looks gorgeous and stunning (not that she doesn’t always but especially in those pictures) ok, I just had to say that.
