HSM3 Update–5 more days for private lessons!

According to the Utah Film Commission, production for HSM3 has been pushed almost another week until May 3. So, Zac will have some time for those extra private lessons, from V, of course! Whew! Everyone seemed a little worried about this–so we can rest a little easier–he’ll have a little more time to get some sleep, learn the Troy moves, spend time with the wildcats (and his favorite girl) before production begins.

And, in case anyone has been trying, there seems to be a problem with the utahextras.com site. It has been down for a few days but the Utah Film Commission did confirm that this is still the site to register to be an extra.

   well that’s good, but will it interfere with the release date. they might possibly push that and that means a longer wait for hsm3. i wonder if they’re doing it just for zac.

   I’m actually glad to hear that, cuz like you said, it would give him more time to catch his breath because let’s face it, these movies might seem “childish” to some, but they put down a lot of hard work, and dedication, and…hard work on it, hours…no days of it.

   Good news for Zac. Now he has more time to learn the dances and his lines for this movie. Hope he gets some rest.

    Well hopefully that will relieve some of the stress on Z!! Not to mention the other dancers that have to put up with him…hahahaha!

    i wonder if this has something to do with the school they’re using. does anyone know what date the schools are out in utah? i know they let our earlier in arizona. i just wonder if the school is trying to minimize how much filming is done while school is in session. maybe the parents were flipping out over it. not really important, just wondering.

    I think they get out around June 4-5…they did state that filming would take place before and after school to minimize disruption…

    yeah, but they still have all their “stuff” there and probably lots of crew/security etc. plus, even if they’re filming outside of classroom hours, there would still be activities going on after school hours. i would imagine there are unhappy parents. but who knows, maybe they just need more pre-production time. i doubt it has solely to do with zac.

    It will give Zac time to rest and learn his lines /dance moves and it will give Vanessa some time to do her music video.

    That is good news. They probably changed the start date for many reasons, including Zac. And I doubt it will affect the October 24th release date.

    I don’t mind the release date getting pushed back, if it means we’re going to get a better quality movie. I’d rather Zac had time to catch his breath than collapse from exhaustion.
