Selena Gomez has been photographed by the paparazzi before. She might not get followed as much as Ashley or Vanessa but she gets her fair of share. But that pack is about to grow since “grown-up” gossip sites (more specifically JJ) is now starting to feature her. And it’s not a surprise that she is being compared and named as possible “replacement” to Miley Cyrus.

I hope she comes out of all these, intact.
I want those shoes though..

seriously, these paparazzi are getting on my nerves. they see potential in someone and automatically take pictures of them, with no regard of how it might affect that person. selena is not concerned with fame- and miley isn’t going anywhere- so they should just leave her alone before she’s made into a bigger deal than she really is. i realize that selena is talented, but if this keeps up people won’t see her talent anymore; they’ll just see the pictures, the lifestyle that’s been given to all these disney teens, and the predictions that she’ll “screw up” eventually too.
miley had a professional photoshoot done by someone else, and all of a sudden she’s getting blamed for taking topless pictures and “growing up too fast”. the only thing that makes it seem like she’s growing up too fast is the fact that that’s all people ever see when they look at her. they see how much makeup she wears at an event- done by someone else- or the “controversial” topless pictures- taken by someone else- or the fact that she makes millions of dollars a year- which she isn’t even allowed to keep totally for herself (she is only 15 and her parents know that).
disney can’t afford to lose miley just because of the way monkeymakers (like those who know a picture of her will get them a nice rolex, or a job as her makeup artist or hair stylist will buy them a new car) portray her, and the wayignorant people view her.
end rant.

i LOVE Selena obviously not as much as I love Vanessa but I do prefer her over Miley… any day.
I think Selena has an amazing fashion style.

I wonder if Disney has Selena’s successor waiting in the wings should she “screw up?” I don’t know if its at Disney or its the media but there seems to be an assembly-line type of mentality where these girls are concerned I really don’t like.

i don’t really like miley but i don’t see what the big deal is anymore. it’s vanity fair& it was taken by a famous photographer who is known for doing these kind of shots. miley may be a little too young but that is her parents fault for not stepping in. i think the media is desperately trying to drag a scandal out of nothing.
selena is really cute though! i love her and david on wizards of waverly place
