The first (hopefully of many) entry of our guest VABN blogger and FF girl, Cris
Zac Efron prefers to stay home. We already know that he’s a fairly private person, likes to hang out with friends, play video games and visit his family. His Gorgeousness has told us that himself. What? A celebrity that loves his friends and family – that can’t be!
Wait a moment – let’s give this crazy accusation some thought. He’s still fairly young and if he didn’t party before everyone from my grandmother to her dog knew who he was – what did everyone expect?
Maybe the answer is that they weren’t necessarily expecting anything. But they were hoping. Sex, drugs and partying sells better than “homebodies.” He’s still a squeaky clean Disney star – much to the delight of Disney executives. If he was a “party dude” it would be far easier to catch him in the act of doing something “wrong.”
If they did find something – preferably with photographic evidence – that would mean the “intrepid reporter” would be set for life. Every single time he was mentioned, the press would find a way to turn the story back to his transgression. Much like they do to GF. This article, which has nothing to do with Vanessa, includes a thinly veiled insult towards her character. One decision made by a young girl may continue to haunt her for the rest of her life.
I would like to send an open letter to the press, if you’ll indulge me.
Dear members of the press, honorable and otherwise:
Please get your own life and let celebrities like Zac and Vanessa live theirs. What ever decisions they make, it is up to them and possibly their families to decide if it was a good one or not. They do not need your opinions or, heaven forbid, advice.
