Things I learn as I get older
I never thought any day could rival the day I met Corbin. And though it will be quite the battle, the day I got a kiss on the cheek from Chris Warren, Jr. is now trying to take its place. The pictures didn’t turn out too well, the lighting really did suck in there, and the video, well, it’s fun to listen to. But this is fun to look at:

Now I just found out about this meet and greet on Tuesday. I got a google alert and absolutely HAD to go! I tried to convince Jill and Chay to meet me, I would have even settled for crystal but something about a snow storm around them kept them from going. I finally convinced my friend Heidi from my old job, who cares nothing about HSM, to go with me. (You can blame her for the video ;))
2 and 1/2 hour drive each way, plus skipping English class, and we got up there about 2:00PM, bracelets got handed out at 3. We got the first ones, but we let some kids meet them before us. While we waited for Kaycee, Olesya, and Chris to get there and get to the stage, I sat flipping through my People magazine from over the summer, and all the little girls nearby had never seen it, so I made friends by letting them flip through my 2 copies. One girl informed me that she was going to marry Troy. We all became BFFs when I showed them the picture of me with Corbin. They thought I was sooo cool 
When they finally got in, fashionably late at 4:30… and I do mean fashionably… girls are gorgeous, Kaycee and Olesya came out first and Chris was like a mile behind… with his dad. Now say it with me “awwwwwww!” We got up there and Heidi “taped” the whole thing for me, you never see me, but I am the voice that talks to Olesya and Kaycee (telling her how gorgeous she is). And when you see Chris stand up… that’s when I got my cheek kiss. And for anyone who is wondering. The boy has soft skin and lips
At one point, Olesya got all excited about me spelling her name right. I wrote them all cards with “VABN” style letters inside. If you really want to know what they said… let me know in a comment, I’ll let you know. But the outsides looked like this:

I really wish there were more to say, but it was an amazing experience. You could tell Olesya reveled in the small kids. There was a family in front of us, and she just kept talking to the girl about her shirt, her hair, and everything, I swear. Kaycee seemed mildly refreshed to talk to an older friend. Not that she didn’t like the young fans too. And Chris, well, as cute, hot, and accomodating as he is, he seemed very “business oriented.” He didn’t say much, but you could tell he loved seeing his fans.
It’s official, I love these kids… Or wait, I already did, but now I love them more. *le sigh*

Sarah…totally cool! Where was Ryne? Hockey game :D? Did Kaycee seem to recognize VABN at all? Wondering if she remembered our conversation?
They are so pretty. Chris is so adorable.
No clue where Ryne was, I sure did miss him though. I gave Chris a bracelet and told him is was from out blog “VABN” and she perked up and looked at me… looked jealous that she didn’t get a bracelet
