spit marks on Gabriella’s prom dress

or grass stain on Sharpay’s gown…

No, I’m not talking about a possible scene in the upcoming HSM3 movie where Gabriella and Sharpay gets into a catfight. I’m talking about the possibility of seeing the work of Elisa Jimenez, from Season 4 of Project Runway, in the movie.

You see, Elisa mentioned in an interview with NYMag that she will be working with costume designer, Caroline Marx in High School Musical 3.

And the spit mark and grass stain?

Well, Elisa is known for her unconventional techniques in making clothes, like using saliva as marking spots and actual grass to stain fabric to get a desired effect. She is all about art and not fashion. But she is not overly “out-there” though; fashionistas like Sarah Jessica Parker and Cameron Diaz know her work; and magazines such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Isn’t this interesting? I can totally see Sharpy donning a couture gown; I don’t know if she’ll appreciate spit marks or grass stain on it though.

If you want to learn more about Elisa (and the spit marks) – here are links for you:

or visit her bio page in the Project Runway website.
