Soccer Emily!

Emily Osment, star on Disney’s Hannah Montana was spotted on the set of her new, upcoming film from Bogner Entertainment, Soccer Mom. Soccer Mom, also starring Emily’s dad, Eugene, Dan Cortese, and Master P is all about a soccer mom (go figure) who disguises herself as an international soccer sensation and champion after a mishap with the real one and coaches her 10-year old daughter, Becca’s, soccer team, who isn’t the greatest team in the world.

You can see more candids of Emily on set here. But that’s not all for our own Lily Truscott. Nope, it’s not. See, in addition to starring along side daddy, she’s also up for a plethora of YAA’s. What’s that you say? Every year or so, The Young Artist Foundation have these awards for any and all Young Artists around the world in the entertainment industry and Emily, has tied with Miley with three nominations to her name. Miley’s had enough press for right now, gotta give Emily some love, no? I think she should just nudge big brother Haley Joel (which she already has) out of the picture and say, “hey, look! I’m more popular than you!” Which, she is. I’m all smiles right now.

So what awards is Emily nominated for? Well…. she’s up for… deep breath here….

• Best performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries or Special; Leading Young Actress; “The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About it”
• Best Young Ensemble Performance in a TV Series; Hannah Montana Cast
• Best Family Television Series; Hannah Montana

Also nominated are the Wizards of Waverly Place cast and High School Musical 2. And I just have to point out that this is possibly the first year ever that the Sprouse Twins aren’t nominated.
