We briefly mentioned the HSM3 costume designer, Caroline Marx, when we blogged about Project Runway’s Elisa Jimenez possible involvement in the movie.
Well, Ms. Marx was in Elisa’s fashion show and talked to NY Daily News on her plans for High School Musical 3.
Now, she didn’t mentioned anything about grass stain and spit marks; but she did mention making a couple of the outfits available to some of us. Apparently, Ms. Marx is planning on teaming up with tux rental company “After Hours”, and create looks (one girl and one guy) for prom. No mention on which characters’ look they are going to use though.
I tried to look for pictures of her past work (she has a long list of credits as costume designer in IMDB). But the only thing that stick out for me is the fact that she outfitted 17 episodes of Gilmore Girls between 2000-2001 (was that the first season? it’s been awhile).
This is definitely something to look forward to for the fashionista in all of us (since clearly not all will be going to the prom
