Palm Springs was HOTT

While most of the country suffered from some unusually cool temperature (especially South Texas!), the California desert city of Palm Springs was hotter than normal, Saturday evening. And the cause? One word – Zanessa!

Well, okay maybe Halle Berry, John Travolta, Drew Barrymore and the other attendees of the Palm Springs Film Festival had something to do with too – but, this is VABN. We kinda have a tunnel vision when it comes to these things… :p

So there we were on a Saturday night – not really expecting anything. We weren’t even sure Zac was going to show up to this event. But since he secretly does love the kuuipos, he not only attended but brought his ladylove with him. AND they posed for pictures TOGETHER at the red carpet! Their first time posing at the red carpet as a couple (no, I’m not counting the HSM2 premiere). I remember back in the early days of VABN, when I actually had a Red Carpet watch. I abandon that because, well, I didn’t think it will ever happen. And this is why I’m not a psychic.

I don’t recall getting all this PDA ever before (not counting Hawaii)! Well, okay maybe it’s up there with Zac’s 2007 birthday… or maybe it’s better? hmmm… I can’t decide; I guess I better do more research and stare at the pictures some more.Maybe absence does make the heart go fonder or maybe it was some homecooked meals (I <3 you Starla!). Whichever it is, I hope we get more of this or a bit more (like a kiss, perhaps?).

   yes the RM team is awesome!!!! should really give yourselves a raise, oh wait, maybe last night was reward enough????????????

   zac and vanessa have finally come to realize that their relationship is out there, so they might as well enjoy being together, be it a red carpet or just out shopping.

   we’ll never know what brought about this change in them, i’m just thankful for it and hope it never goes away again!

   thanks for all your work last night keeping the kuuipos of the world updated and happy.

   who knows, maybe we’ll get more of the same tonight!

   This is truly my favorite fansite. I love that you not only support Vanessa and Zac, but the other HSM co-stars. I am still giddy about the pictures of them. I felt the love between them in other pictures, but this was on another level. I just see them as being 2 young people who are in love and only had eyes for each other that night.

   Ah, Chay, I always love your articles about the happy couple. Sadly, a lot of the tabloids are now saying all that posing was fake and the couple is fake. If only I had a magic wand, I would zap these rotten souls who can’t stand the idea of someone actually being happy.

   Malia I knew that tabloids would soon make negative comments about Z and V. This relationship has grown a lot from the time they first met and so fans that saw all the behind the scenes looks and actions know this is for real. No one cared before and now they are the “it” couple and people want to dissect the relationship. They were very touchy at the festival, but still very shy about actually discussing the relationship. I just pray that they stay strong through this stage because sooner or later another “it” couple will come along and they can be left alone.
