Vanessa can flaunt it

When we first saw the scans of Vanessa’s Flaunt Magazine layout several weeks ago, we weren’t sure if we should blog about it or not.

It wasn’t because we weren’t excited and proud of her. I mean besides the fact that we only got scans at that point, some of us actually didn’t really believe it was her in those photographs.

We are so use to seeing her with that cheeky smile in her pictorials or in photos, fashion industry insiders would refer to as “commercial” – that when she did something artsy and edgy – we were taken aback.

There are still some that don’t like the photos – “sad and depressing” or a bit on the noir side for their liking. But kudos to her Gorgeous-ness for stepping outside the box.

    I Liked the Flaunt shoot as it showed us a different side to Vanessa, As an artist ( Yes Vanessa is an performance artist) she should experiment and explore all her different sides. Some people will be slightly apprehensive as it is very different to the cute commercial pictures of her that we are used to but that is fine. She will do many more pretty commercial shoots and hopefully once in a while will try something different to mix it up.

    I think these pics looks great. Yea some scare me a bit, but it shows a more professional and edgy and more mature side of her. its interesting! :P
    I love it.
    She looks gorgeous as usual.
