Dear Ryne,

Hi! We here at VABN haven’t talked to you much, have we? You aren’t mad at us are you? Because I can explain. See, us girls here, we all love High School Musical, a whole freakin’ lot. And we love you Wildcats, all 10, plus Kenny and Huff and Chucky and the whole lot of you. You see, we all just have our own “favorites.” For me, it’s Corbin with a side of Ashley and Monique. For Chay it’s Vanessa with a side of kuuipo. Jill-Renay, give her MoMo dancing the rhumba. But you as one of our baby!wildcats hold a very dear spot in out hearts.

You are absolutely adorable, even though some of your style choices may be, well, questionable. Your brother/sister friendship with Kaycee is cute beyond words. Your delivery of Jason is blissfully stupid, none of us will ever forget “I’m not Miss Evans.” You having “normal life” aspirations like the desire to study architecture makes me want to hire you to build me a mansion. You get the picture. We love you.

But one of us, not actually a part of the VABN “staff” but a girl who holds a large part in all of our hearts here and over at our message boards, loves you more. You are her favorite wildcat… quite possibly her favorite celebrity period. I know you’re intrigued. So let me tell you just a bit more about Peggy…

 
Well, not a whole lot more. The main thing is she’s practically my best friend these days and her birthday is today. So as a poor college kid, I sat and thought and thought about what to get her. Then it hit me, THE PERFECT IDEA. Well, maybe not perfect, but I don’t think you want to read about what would be her perfect gift.  I can’t tell you just yet, gotta let the suspense build. For now I will just say, it’s not something I could giftwrap.

So I got a few girls over at FF to change their icons in order to help me out. (Yes, Peggy if you’re reading, I WAS behind the “conspiracy.” :P ) When I say a few I mean 16+.  They changed them starting Friday morning. The first two she saw were:

Then the following conversations occured:

(11:48AM)
Peggy: Umm so is part of my surprise everyone using a ryne icon?
Me: huh?
Peggy: Molly and Vivi are both sporting Ryne icons.
Me:
Peggy: Whatever
Me: I know nothing
Peggy: yes you do… you just don’t wanna tell me
Me: i am clueless
Peggy: yah yah… though the one the molly is using looks like he got shot or something….go look…like his arm and his shoulder
Me: that is weird

(12:30PM)
 
Peggy: mmmmhmmmm now betty has a ryne icon…. getting suspicious :P… and chay
Me:
Peggy: Whatever you suck
Me: you love me
Peggy: not really….and i am so confused with the little marks in them
Me:
Peggy: shut up you know!
Me: i do not
Peggy: YES YOU DO!!
Me: nope
Peggy: yep
Me: whatever
Peggy: i don’t like you and i am not speaking to you anymore
Me: whatever… maybe I’ll just keep your birthday present then
Peggy: k FINE
Me: you love me
Peggy: not really
Me: yes you do… you might be upset… but you love me
Peggy: i wanna know!
Me: You will
Peggy: but but but i can’t wait till sunday :’(
Me: then be intuitive
Peggy: well i am assuming the icons spell something… 8o|<—that’s my mean face
Me: that is vicious
Peggy: i know…now you are so scared that you are going to tell me
Me: Umm… no?
Peggy: Damn :pout: … ok i got “.” R “-” S N B… still so confused

(2:30PM)

Peggy: alright now jill has a friggin ryne icon
Me: does she?
Peggy: yes
Me: interesting
Peggy: you.suck.
Me:
Peggy: yah yah you’re clueless
Me: :nod:
Peggy: whatever

(3:10PM)
Peggy: so now i have “.” R “-” S N B Y
Me: that makes no sense
Peggy: you’re telling me!
Me: how would i know what they mean?
Peggy: cuz you are behind the whole conspiracy
Me: am not
Peggy: are too
Me: am not
Peggy: are too

(3:42PM - while I was gone)
Peggy: even though i know that you are behing this whole thing. i love seeing all the icons with ryne in them

(5:00 PM)

Peggy: ok now bee has one…..sarah
Me: what?
Peggy: a ryne icon
Me: hmm
Peggy: now it’s “.” R “-” S N B Y E
Me: that means nothing to me
Peggy: sssuuuureee
Me: it doesn’t
Peggy: sarah why must you lie to me?
Me: I’m not lying to you. “.” R “-” S N B Y E means nothing to me
Peggy: but those in a different order probably do
Me:

Peggy: oh for {pete’s} sake sarah now stina has one and that girl NEVER has a ryne icon… “.” R “-” S N B Y E N ?????
Me: I dont know what that means
Peggy *yanks hair out* oh but you DO

Peggy: nikka has one to?!?!?!
me:
Peggy: {gosh darn} it!
me: i really do love you
Peggy yah right
me: i do
Peggy: mmm…. one whole page with nothing but Ryne icons….something is going on
Me:
Peggy: sarah elizabeth

Then she left for the night.

Now, like I told you, there were 16 icons. I’m not sure she saw the other 6, to be honest. They look like this.
     
Ok, now go write down all the “cryptic symbols” and tell me what they say. You see it? You’re so smart. You really have that 4.0 brain. (See Peggy, Ryne can get it)
