So, guess what? Just before the Christmas in Washington segment for TNT was filmed, we got other news of Vanessa’s Music and her next album. Thanks to Erin@ FanForum and the Pulse Music Boards, we have new information on a couple of new singles for her sophomore album. But just remember, you heard it here first. 
I’ve always wanted to say that.
Trash Me, originally written and recorded by Jessie Malakouti, of the band appropriately named, Shut Up Stella, is a contender for Vanessa’s upcoming album. And take it from us here, it’s hot. You can listen to the demo on Jessie’s myspace and then try and picture Vanessa recording it. Yea, Hot, hot hot. But from the way the posters on Pulse talked, it sounds like Vanessa will be recording it, but we’re not entirely sure if it will be on her album. There are also mentions of several other people are fighting over the song as well. Plus, Jessie Malakouti is also fighting for the rights to record it, since she did in fact, write the song.
And that’s not all, everyone. It seems that Hilary Duff is also picking and choosing too. She recorded a song for “Dignity 2″ and then they scrapped & who was it was given to? Vanessa. Title on that song is coming soon. A lot of Hilary’s songs were written by Kara DioGuardi, who, by her official site alone, is a top notch songwriter. I Don’t Need a Man (Pussycat Dolls), Ain’t No Other Man (Christina Aguilera), and Taking Chances (Celine Dion), anyone?
