Road Trip anyone?
I’m planning a road trip. Who doesn’t love a good road trip? Also, I want to go back to high school. But just not any high school. I want to go to East High. I want to be a Wildcat, who doesn’t right? I’m actually thinking of going out for the cheer team. I mean, I’m no Blond Villainous Cheerleader aka Bayli, but I was one in my real high school and have to say, yea, I was good. I guess the only problem is me being, not exactly, 17 anymore. But, gotta try, right?
But back to road trip. I want to go to Utah! Not only so I can sit in the exact seat that Monique Coleman does (because I am that much in love with her :)) but when I arrive at East High on April 21st, I can get all those backstage secrets that I’m always after and Kenny Ortega can officially adopt me. I also want to go to Troy’s secret spot too. Can you say amazing view?
The Salt Lake Tribune (Chel @ FF too) surprised us today with a new article! FILMING DATES CONFIRMED. So, I’m going, anyone else? Filming officially starts at East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 21, 2008 and everything is supposed to be wrapped up right around June 13th. 41 days of filming for the big screen - Please, someone let me go!
But East High School Principal Paul Sagers said he and Salt Lake City School District officials have been meeting with Disney executives about renting the East High building for filming. Shooting is scheduled for 41 days, longer than the first two movies.
“At least verbally we all committed to doing that,” he said. “They’ve basically asked to use the classrooms, the halls, the gyms . . . and the commons area [the lunch room].”
They’re still tight lipped about the whole plot for the movie, but things are definitely moving forward. You’ll all be excited to learn that all 10 of the principal cast, the ones we like to call the Wildcats (and rightfully so), have signed on the dotted line and are all coming back. More news is definitely on the way….
Anyone else wanna tag along? I’m think we can stop in Las Vegas too….to you know…see the sites 
Just remember to pack a the most expensive binoculars and oh yea, charge your camera up. Batteries are essential.
