and it’s her nose not yours.
Two weeks after telling the world that she had a procedure done to fix a deviated septum (a septoplasty, I think it’s called), Ashley Tisdale emerged looking refreshed and relaxed.
I didn’t even really noticed much of a change until I saw a picture of her profile; and it’s mostly because I was kind of attached to her “bump”. The was part of the Tizzy, as far as I’m concern. Now, am I “disappointed” that she probably did have a rhinoplasty and septoplasty? No - not really. I mean, it doesn’t really matter to me. It’s none of my business anyway. And it shouldn’t be yours either.
I’ve read some comments about how some of her fans are “disappointed” because she underwent a cosmetic procedure. I understand the “uproar” over it; but I don’t understand why it’s a big deal to any of her fans - whether she did or not. Did she use your college fund to pay for it? Did she ruined the rest of your life? Did she kill your pet gold fish because of it? No? So get over it.
There’s really no sense in going all “up-in-arms” about it. So stop the name-calling!
Just be happy for Ashley - that she made it through the procedure (it is a major procedure - no joke!); and she’s looking good.
She is still the same Ashley we come to know and love. We’ll get use to seeing her without the bump and we’ll probably even forget it was there in the first place.
UPDATE: Click here to read more on what Ashley tells People Magazine, on what prompted her to undergo the procedure and shared an exclusive post-surgery picture. It also includes a statement from her doctor.

fans are not disappointed that she had a new nose. personally, it’s more of how she lied about it and mislead her fans to think that it was all for “health reasons” and how she does not advocate plastic surgery when clearly she had it done.

A) People are just…mean. I read those comments. If you were a real fan, you wouldn’t care. Honestly, I think it’s great she fixed something that needed to be fixed. I’m happy she could do somthing like that, because of where she is in her life. If people would stop and think before nastily typing the rudest things EVER, maybe it wouldn’t BE an uproar. It’s so annoying. I don’t care if she goes in and changes her whole entire face, I’d still be her fan. I just don’t get how people who consider themselves fans could be so negative and heartless, I mean, screaming ‘EEEEEW?’…a little childish, no?
B) I like her hair a little darker, I must say. Not that I don’t like it blonde, but it looks good with the dirty blonde thing going on.
C) Those pictures do her no justice. The lighting is terrible, it makes her skin look super pale, and I think she’d just finished singing…so before they judge, maybe those haters should wait til some not on-stage pics come in.
Phew, that made me feel SO much better.

I think it is a bit unfair to say just get over it because not everyone is up in arms saying she ruined our lives or that they hate her. This doesn’t bother me too much, espcially since I kind of expected she would do more than just fix her deviated septum when she announced this. I do also know some people are just more disappointed that she wasn’t upfront about the whole thing not the cosmetic surgery itself. She couldv’e not said anything on the subject or just said the whole truth. She said in that statement she didn’t support plastic surgery and was doing it for health reasons, in that case doing this kind of contradicts that. She always seemed pretty confident about herself and her choices so it’s odd she in a roundabout way lied. But I do agree with you on the cosmetic surgery itself. She shouldn’t be condmned for what she did, espcially if it makes her happy because that’s more important and afterall it’s her body. However if people look up to her in the sense of her being an honest person, then I think in this situation it’s fine for them to be dissapointed. I’m sure the true fans will still love and support her despite this.

Maybe its because she lied about… that’s my problem and that’s why I’m disappointed. I don’t care if she had her nose done on top of the deviated septum procedure but at least don’t go saying that “my fans are everything to me” and then do another thing. I know it doesn’t concern and yes, its her nose but she made it her fan’s business, in a way, when she announced that she was doing it for her deviated septum and coming out with a new nose.

im disapointed in her because she lied. we all know that it was not for health reasons. my friend met her and vanessa last year in england and she said that ashley was not as friendly as she express to be whilst vanessa was a total sweatheart therefore im not at all suprised about her behavior. i still like her but im a little bit disapointed and i think she should always tell the truth like what Vanessa did which made me respect and love her more.

i agree with you
i can relate to her from personal experience
i had to have surgery when i was 9 from a nasty horse accident
my septum was deviated too, and after the surgery my nose did change
i had a bump like ashley’s that i got from my mom, but it dissapeared because of the surgery
she’s not plastic, it’s just a normal consecuence!
