Lucas Grabeel is off to Japan to film “Lock and Roll Forever”.

Variety is reporting that Lucas will star with Ike Barinhotz, Taylor Negron, Brad Dourif and Naoko Nozawa for a musical feature that will center around on an all-girl Japan band coming to America.

The movie is being produced by Bill Borden and Barry Rosenbush – the same team that brought us HSM & HSM2. Also from the HSM family is writer/creator Peter Barsocchini, who wrote the script for “Lock”.

List of locations beside Japan includes LA and Salt Lake City, Utah.

The movie will also star members of Oreska band from a small industrial city in Japan.

Sony Music Entertainment Japan is co-producing.

Filming has started.

You Got it So good….

Yo so here’s the scoop….
A couple of us set out on a trip to Europe in September, we had an idea to shoot a video to You Got It along the way. We wanted it to portray the nature of the song in every aspect of our shoot so we tried to put Lucas in situations where people became confused to the source of his shear enjoyment. The point is, you dont have to be able to sing, paint, write poems, or play an instrument to dance.
The best part of this video is the people who make it up. The next time you see someone dancing in the streets you should join. Better yet… YOU be the person dancing in the streets.

….that Vanessa Hudgens isn’t in HSM3!?! What! No Way!

Let’s clarify this right here and now folks. NO ONE HAS SIGNED ON TO HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3. Including Kenny Ortega.

But the IMDB Page says….Dear Readers - don’t take to heart anything IMDB has on their website until production is finished. IMDB is a reliable source…but after everything’s been completed. Do you not remember when Troy still had a brother that was said to appear in HSM2? Did you see said brother? No.How do you know this stuff?

Easy. We ask. And if we get an answer, we jump for joy and smile knowing that this is what’s happening and this is what’s what. This time, when a flux in traffic was noted from Miss-Vanessa.org about Ashley, Zac, Miley, Lucas and Vanessa all signing their contracts this week, we asked right away and got a response:

I am able to see where the traffic comes from to my Disney Channel Auditions page and I saw a spike in traffic from one particular forum call “miss-vanessa.org“. I found a thread in a comments section where someone made some posts posing as me. They left a link to my blog, but also the contract info. I had that info sent to me last night and apparently it made it’s way from that site. Anyways, I checked with my contacts and that information has yet to be released to the public, so I removed it immediately from my blog….I’ll also try to keep you posted as soon as I get confirmed information.

While on his way to have lunch at one of his favorite restaurants in Studio City, Aroma Cafe, he asked photogs for quarters to pay for the meter only to discover the meter is broken. Free parking! Of course the female photogs couldn’t help but flirt with the guy. Shouldn’t be a surprise anymore, right?

Dear Zachary and Vanessa;

Okay, so it’s been a while since you’ve gotten one of these from me, let alone Chay or even, yes, Zachary, I’m bringing her into it - Crystal. Okay, so, you two have some explaining to do. Serious explaining. I’m not talking about the mess your apartment was in Mr. Efron - we will tackle that at another time, another place, were there aren’t kids under 13 reading this. I’m giving you fair warning there. What am I talking about? I’m talking about this - and this - and don’t even get me started on THIS! Do you two know that you’re going to have me committed? That’s not a good thing so stop laughing Zachary. I am not above pulling your middle names out.

Shall I make a list? Because you both know that I’m good at making lists…..you did check your things-to-do list, right? Check it and let’s move on….

2. Zachary, you’re learning so well! I’m so proud. I feel like I should give you an award for finally, emphasis on the finally, flaunting what you got. 5. We’ve coined a new term to be added to the VABN Dictionary of Must-Have-In-Your-Vocabulary-To-Be-Cool (this will make it to print, watch). Zanesschizophrenic. I know, it’s like the hardest thing to say and even hard to type but it has a purpose. It also comes with an abbreviation - ZSP.

Zanesschizophrenic, or ZSP, verb. Definition: sick; pertaining to the syndrome related but not limited to Young Hollywood Power Couple, Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Zac Efron; a severe mental disorder characterized by some, but not necessarily all, of the following features: excessive picture posting, disorganized speech, constant babbling and tongue-tied-ness concerning said Power Couple. Halluncinations also come into play.
