Vanessa Hudgens’ Sneakernight has reached over 100k “plays” on her Myspace page and 7000+ on Hollywood Records’ Myspace. It is now on the #11 spot in Radio Disney’s Top 30 countdown, 3 weeks after it premiered on the countdown. Very good progress. I was thinking it would be higher though, since the song practically lives on the top 3 dot com countdown. But I guess we need to step up whatever we are doing - maybe getting her on the #1 spot on the top3 dot com countdown every night? And maybe we need to start calling too? The number is 1-888-327-7018, if you don’t already have it.
Even with this “progress”, there doesn’t seem to be any promotional activities from the record label still - not even an official confirmation on the July 1st release, besides what the retailers have published on their sites. No word on whether radio stations have received their promo disk, either. And no word on the supposed video shot on Monday. I can only guess what’s going on. All I know is that we can’t blame this or that other artist - doing so, just sap energy that we could use to good use for Vanessa.
As a fan, I want her to be successful. But I can only do so much and I don’t know what else to do. I’m not even sure my ideas are working - I can’t really tell. I’m beyond complaining at this point. Frustrated? Yes.
I understand not all her fans like Sneakernight, but there’s talk that getting a second single released of Identified is contingent of the success of the first single. I personally would like to see them release “Dont Leave”, which is rumored to be the one Jesse McCartney penned for her. Imagine the possibilities if the song is as good as “Bleeding Love”.
So that’s where we’re at.

Two of our favorite young ladies, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens, are included in this year’s Maxim Hot 100 list. Ashley got the #10 spot, while Vanessa is at #12. I say those are very good standing, considering these two ladies are more well-known for a little movie franchise that is targeted towards a much younger demographic.
As far as whose higher in the ranking - that really doesn’t matter. This type of list is a dime a dozen these days. And most importantly - these lists are very subjective.
The fact of the matter is - they now have a higher profile and the (adult) male demographic has taken notice. They need that to go far in the industry they are in.
I say - “good for you” Ashley and Vanessa!

All right…I don’t know how accurate Amazon usually is - but if you go to pre-order Vanessa Hudgens’ album, Identified, you’ll see that they have listed the album’s tracklisting.
Can’t say much about the titles yet though…#12 did raise an eyebrow.. And I’m already stringing the titles together to create sentences…I’m in a silly mood apparently.
So here they are. Let the discussion begin!

The picture above is one of the best of the HSM Wildcats in recent times - even if it’s just of the 4 of them. But I want more.
As much as I ogle over the Zanessa goodies from last Sunday’s Lakers/Jazz game, I’m still hoping that more pics of Ashley and Corbin, from the same day, surface. Yeah sure - Zanessa is great eye candy around here (and you saw how we celebrated and “squeed” everytime a new one comes out); but is it too much to ask for Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu pictures too?

So Chay felt compelled to blog about Zac’s dorkiness! The woman just loves to push my buttons, she is very aware how defensive I get when the girls at FF decide to pick on Zac—especially when I suspect that Crystal is behind the malice. But of course, I know it’s all in good fun, and well truth be told, every once in awhile I even think he deserves it! And as is often the case, when one of us expresses a thought or idea, well then another one of us is very likely to respond, or in this case refute it. So with that in mind, I came up with my own rebuttals to Chay’s captions.

In Ashley Tisdale’s latest OMG vlog for DegreeGirl, she talks about her recent OMG moment while filming HSM3. Poor girl hurt herself! But Jill would be glad to hear this little tidbit - they were filming a waltz scene! I think it’s safe to say this is one scene we’re definitely looking forward to see.

Ever before High School Musical 2 premiered, I’ve always wish for a Taylor-Sharpay showdown, whether it’s for Senior Class President or who gets to dress Gabriella for Prom. I want Taylor and Sharpay to take out the claws and go at it! I know, so violent for a “Rated G” movie, but I can’t help it. Having these two strong-willed individuals in one spot just calls for a catfight. Ok, maybe just the beginning of hair-pulling and then Chad and Zeke can save them from each other.
